Apple Premium Reseller 27 inch

Cost: 3300 euros
Ordered: November 30 at 11:00, 2012!

Friday will be 3 months :mad: :mad:(and this applies for many other customers of this reseller).

Well I finnaly picked up my iMac with 680MX today. It arrived last wednesday, but since I had bought a stock iMac at a different a store and they didn´t have enough money to return me. I had to wait for them to transfer the money to my account.

Seems I got a WD harddrive this time, 40 MB/s slower than the Seagate. Well hopefully it is more reliable, either way I guess it won´t matter since I was thinking of setting up an external SSD.

I am just glad that this wait is finnaly over for me.
 
ordered December 24th from iDigital - israel's "premium" reseller.
waiting for 10 weeks, hoping for an ETA (not shipment) soon
 
I am in the same boat.

I have ordered on 04 January via reseller in Switzerland. I am not even able to get any estimation when I may actually receive my computer. my reseller claims (and I trust him) that he gets no information from Apple. He told me 10 days ago that status had changed and it went into the production but nothing has changed since.

I chatted with Apple representative on line. he told me that could not give me any estimates and only a reseller can do it. I asked then for possibility of getting some "freebie" for deley caused by Apple: it is already 10 weeks of waiting while initial estimates were 3-4 weeks.
he told me "no" - apple cannot take any responsibility for delay as it it most likely ... The reseller fault. I asked him then if he knows that this is systematic issue and there is many customers who bought their iMacs at resellers and being highly annoyed with giving them 3rd priority comparing to online customers (apple store). He said "I have no knowledge about orders made by resellers". when's asked who had this knowledge he said - "only resellers" and he refused to give me any contact point at apple to whom I could complain about this situation.

it is really really annoying. I am actually slowly staring to thinking about canceling and getting something else....

Ordered from the same clowns in 14.1,....
Still nothing.
Before one week they called and said that the wait is now 50 business days.
I already waited 34....

I really can't understand why apple doesn't sent few units to idigital.
I think that there is 100 orders, top, in Israel looking for new imac.

May I ask where you have ordered from? I think I'm in the same Boat as you. I ordered from heinigerag on 3.12.2012.

It makes me even more annoyed to hear that you are even waiting one month longer then me!!! 3 months is really beyond any standards. Some guys are getting their machines after 3-4 weeks....

That is just terrible. The whole reseller process is rubbish. In Australia, while new apple.com/au orders are subject to 7-10 day shipping wait, current orders through resellers are still 4-6 weeks. According to Apple reseller "support", resellers have different "lead times" (read: low priority delays). The last time I ever order through a reseller.

Ordered on the 23rd of January and received it yesterday on the 6th of March.
I think the APRs have no clue when they will get them. I called my reseller last week and they told me they didn't know when it would arrive. And this week it did. I think there's a lot of room for improvement in the communication between Apple and APRs.

since you ordered the EXACT same config as I did, I'm hoping that mine will come in a few days! :D did you really also take the numeric keyboard and the trackpad?
 
The reseller I used just informed me that mine is going to be delivered Monday, March 11th. That makes it 3 days short of three months. Not the worst experience here but pretty close.

at least now you know the date! the worst line is: "we have no idea, could be tomorrow, could be in a month."
