They need to address the ongoing issue where is you are cabled into CarPlay and you are on a call it disconnects from CarPlay then reconnects. This has been going on for awhile.
Apple's software engineers are internally testing iOS
I’m often finding my 17 Pro Max (on T-Mobile) holds on to 5G UC much longer in places where it usually dropped to LTE.Mine and the wife's phones (both 17 Pro) are the same, we live in rural area where signal is patchy but still worked previously on 13 and 14 Pro.
We swapped her phone out for new one and still the same issue. I'm certain a software update will fix it as I don't think the 2 original phones and replacement could be faulty.
i did and 26.1 beta 2 is much more stable than 26.0.1 for me (iphone air)Im seriously considering updating to 26.1 beta on my 17.
I had fewer issues running the beta before iOS 26 released.Thank goodness! Keep them rolling!
Now I just need to push through these updates and hope every piece hardware iOS 26 touched comes out of what seems like eternal beta mode.
Wireless CarPlay performance?i did and 26.1 beta 2 is much more stable than 26.0.1 for me (iphone air)
Stay the course. I do not think the features (when they work correctly) outweigh the sloppy bugs on the watch, phone, and AppleTV.Absolutely elated to be on iOS 18 still.
What a mess. CarPlay connection issues, of all things?

I’m still having a ton of issues with wireless CarPlay so I hope that’s resolved in this update!
Most people have auto updates turned on. So Apple pushes out an update with fancy new graphics. When it runs crappy they go buy a new iPhone. Apple profits.
What do you think the “i” in “iOS” stands for?!Would be a lot greater if they called it iPhoneOS 26.0.2 so it would actually work on iPhones, but they didn't ask me for some inexplicable reason.
Change updates are the whole number. The point iterations are for bug fixes. They’re meant to be yawners.iOS 26.0.2 will be another yawner of a release!

Bug fixes are a good thing. So is a $20 bill. I just prefer to not get the $20 a nickel at a time. This iOS needs 26.1 *now* with all the fixes and feature additions they couldn't manage when it was released.Bug fixer are a good thing, so bring it on
