Lets hope it comes fast... I have had the 512 model for two days and has happened about 3 times already. gets really annoying having to force shut down my computer.

3 times? That's three times more than the amount of times I had to re-boot my DIY PC in the last three years. Come to think of it, I just can't remember a single time I had to re-boot it. It just works.

I got my 13 rMBP on Friday, had it just do it. I had previously synced a bluetooth mouse and I tried turning it on but it didn't work. Then I tried plugging in a usb mouse and also didn't work. Had to hard shutdown.

What an awesome keyboard!

Oh my gosh with a keyboard cover, the 13in retina is such a joy to type on, it is like butter and gold, so quiet and easy to type super fast. Thank goodness. This machine is SOLID. I sense some great improvements to come yet. Way to go!

Got my machine on Friday and have had this issue occur multiple times daily since then. The temporary solution of closing the clamshell for a minute does work, but is pretty damn ridiculous to have to do on a device that costs close to $1500.

I continue to have this problem with a 2011 macbook pro after mavericks upgrade. I know someone else who has the same issue. Specifically happens often when working in ableton.

Macbook air trackpad useless

My late 2008 Air has the same problems. Cursor is not only non-responsive, it is wiggly and jumps all over the place by itself!
I had to use a mouse to do anything. Reinstall of Mavericks(supposedly with update?) Didn't solve the problem.. So.. is there a solution yet?!, Or should I go back to Snow Leopard which always frigging worked?
