I just removed my AppleCard from my Apple Wallet.

Maybe we should get an option to let it stack?)

You do have that option. It's called not redeeming the daily cash for a while until it builds up to an amount you are satisfied with

Why can't you let it just stack? Mine gets added and stacked to Apple Cash everyday.
Can you apply your daily cash towards the balance on the apple card, or are you just forced to use it to buy things?

Well if you use Apple Cash for its intended purpose of paying friends and family, it will deduct from your Apple Cash balance always before it charges your debit card. It’s just how Apple Cash is designed to work and there’s no way to prevent it. So your Daily Cash is always going to go towards those payments if you happen to be someone that uses that feature.

“Just save it” is unfortunately not helpful advice in this scenario.

I used the Apple Card all weekend with Apple Pay and it worked flawless. Only issues I had was 1: PetCo's reader wasn't working for Apple Pay and was supposed to. 2:Used Apple Pay for Uber twice. First one went in as a blue category for travel. The second one went in as a green category for transportation. Just kinda strange. Other than that it's been smooth and have earned almost $5.00 cash back.

1 small thing I really like about the card is that it just shows you total balance and available. None of this nonsense where you have to wait for things to clear to be added to the balance. Does it all instantly, don't have to subtract or anything.

Like I said, small. But I much prefer it this way.

Yooo I LOVE that feature. I absolutely hate seeing my balance on other cards that doesn’t include pending transactions. So annoying.

yes you can use it to pay down the balance of the card, if you have gone thru all the Cash ID Verify steps your Cash balance will show as available when you go to pay your  Card.

Woah Marisa Robertson is a real person?! Man how well do you have to do at Apple to literally get your name on one of its products, even if it is just in marketing content?
[doublepost=1566839312][/doublepost]Got my card last week! It's beautiful and I've never loved handing a card to a cashier more than I do now :D
Do you get the, “whoa, what the heck is this”? I used mine over the weekend and was asked that every time lol. One cashier asked how I got it and I told her it was a secret program haha. I haven’t got that reaction on an Apple “product” in years.

I’ve had my card a few weeks now. I like the physical card. I thought it would be silver in color but because its Apple, white is no surprise. I have it in my wallet (I use a minimalist FIDELO wallet) between my Concealed weapon permit and social security cards. Is there an Omen there???
A lot of people are complaining about credit limits and APRs. Give it a few months and call Apple Card support and ask if they can raise your credit limits or lower APR. This whole program is only starting and bugs need to be worked out. As good as Apple prepares for launches of products and services, things can still go wrong. It’s easy to ridicule but that’s usually done because of some issue that person is having. I don’t want to get into a pissing contest so I’ll end there.
I believe in the near future you will see a web based feature to manage your Apple Card account as well as integration with apps like Mint. There is an old saying ”you can eat a whole elephant but you must do it one bite at a time”.

Yeh I hope they are open to APR changes after we let the initial wave calms down... 700 < credit score < 750 is my credit score , and I got the worst APR they offer... If my score is better than 40%-50% of the US population... why is my score bottom of the barrel?

Not that it matters, I do plan to pay it off (have it set to do so in app) at the end of the month, but on that "Hell froze over" scenario I would like to know I am not paying 23.99% but rather something like 14%-17% APR

While I love the interface, tracking and the unique features that clearly came from Apple... I hate the lack of "Family Centric" stuff that also came from Apple. Apple simply doesn't understand how families work.
- No 2nd user. Spouse has to apply for her own
- No website support. Wallet has tons of info, but not enough to eliminate the need for a web interface
- No Quicken/Mint/Banking Software support.
- Family Spending. With two separate cards and no 3rd party support then how are you supposed to manage family expenses? With the calculator on your iPad?!?!

I dont hate the card at all. I think much of it is very clever and convenient. But, just like iCloud Photos and iPad Logins, it just doesn't seem to be made for people in stable families.

(Bonus Complaint - Instant CashBack isnt as exciting as I thought it would be. I made 30cents yesterday with the AppleCard. That 30cents is so little that its pretty much evaporated into my daily expenses. With my current Citibank I'm at $850 in cash back rewards that I can cash out in February. Accumulating rewards is always a fun treat that is almost lost in these tiny daily Apple rewards. Maybe we should get an option to let it stack?)
Just another one of the jillion aspects of apple interfaces and conventions that seem to assume all users are single, barren 27 year-olds with loads of dosh and perfect eyesight.

Actually, I find Apple to be one of the better companies with regards to catering to the disabled. Check out the Accessibility settings on the iPhone sometime.

As for the missing features of the Apple Card previously mentioned, they'll probably be added at some point when they can be made secure and easy to use. The last thing any of us want is for someone to hijack an authorized user's card and add it to a burner phone or something.

A credit file with a score in the low 700's can have a number of negative things that could be of concern depending on how old they are. The score is never the sole basis especially since each credit bureau calculates its score differently. The only actual FICO is from Experian, which Apple does not use. They use TransUnion.

Unfortunately, they still are having issues with Enhanced Drivers Licenses/Real IDs (particularly, Minnesota/Washington/New York) and no resolution for those of us affected. I wish Apple would have a little more control over the support being offered by Goldman Sachs.

Yeah - Goldman Sachs is the WORST - been involved in my own nightmare with them....

BEWARE - Don't turn off 2 factor auth - they will CLOSE your account - and then you're screwed....
[doublepost=1566856061][/doublepost]Whatever you do - DO NOT TURN OFF 2 FACTOR AUTH - they will CLOSE your account without warning....

Needs a disclaimer at the end:
Please do not store your Apple Card in your pocket, in your wallet, in your purse, or in an environment that may contain dust, moisture, or air of any kind. Your Apple Card should be stored in an Apple-certified unicorn hide case with carbon ferrite lining.

Don't forget a couple of armed guards guarding it 24/7, two miles (3.21km) below sea level.:D

The only hiccup I've run into is at a discount rental car place. They:
Didn't accept Apple Pay
Didn't have a chip reader
Needed a card by a "Major" bank
Needed my name and number on the card
I was under the impression that for business that accept credit/debit cards there was a requirement to have updated equipment that accepts cards with chips by a certain time which was something like a year or two ago, otherwise they couldn't even accept credit/debit cards basically.

2015. And the consequence isn't "can no longer accept cards", it's that they become liable for fraudulent transactions. Unfortunately this also means that merchants with low fraud levels might simply never bother upgrading.

These days that’s a rather poor consequence these days if things are moving toward cards not having magnetic stripes.

Cards in other countries can do that because they've had EMV for a decade+. Unfortunately it'll probably be another decade before banks in the US could even consider auto-declining all magstripe transactions by default, let alone not include one.

Why stack? To let the card provider earn additional interest. Heck no.

I transfer my rewards 2-3x a week. Even if I’m only earning 2.15% in interest, at least my rewards are growing faster.

Why not open a HY savings account and move your Apple Cash there? Isn’t more cash better?

Ahaha I only used the physical card once so far, and the guy behind the counter I could tell seemed intrigued/appreciated it, but didn't make a comment in line with that. I'm waiting for the first time I go to a bar or restaurant where handing off my card is much more of a process, and the person tendering my payment most likely will have a little more freedom to ask me about it because of this.

When offer finally showed up in wallet, it was quick and easy, approved immediately because thanks to the heads up i had temporarily unfrozen TransUnion, surprised by how much credit given, but it will actually just sit there as a back up for now. Card is nice.

Poor customer service from Goldman Sachs. I am an Apple customer for years, can't charge a new laptop from the online Apple Store on the Apple Card! Tried 3 times inside of one week to get the problem cleared up. Still can't charge the purchase on the card. Not a credit limit problem either. I have been promised a "reach out" from higher up than the customer service agents, no contact after a week. Closing this card as soon as my payment clears the bank for the other minor purchases.

If true, that seems very strange... I'm confused why GS won't tell you a reason for the decline? I've never had a bank "not know" if my account had issues. Even by phone they refuse to say why? (Meaning contact GS support, not Apple Store support)

Yes, GS support directly on the phone. 1st agent said he couldn't see why I was declined. 2 days later, 2nd agent sends me through a crazy security screening questions, the first was "What is the last home address before your current one?" I've lived at my current home for 27 years. I don't remember my previous address! Finally got through the screening and told my hold was taken off. 5 days after that, I STILL can't charge a refurbished laptop. I just switched to a different card. The 3% cash back was not worth all this hassle.

My credit union has a better APR so, maybe if they drop the APR to a reasonable rate. thanks for playing Apple.
