I am sorry, but Apple is using some cheap sapphire for their AW and you should worry when you see those scratches. You can have crack resistance or scratch resistance, but not both. Apple is usually going for crack resistance with all their products, because a cracked screen is worse than a scratched screen.
Micro-scratches are normal and no one should worry about them.
harder glass = harder to scratch = easier to crack
softer glass = easier to scratch = harder to crack
this is how I noticed between even Samsung Phones and Iphones from my own experience Iphones have harder glass but crack easily when dropped but Samsung Phones are a bit softer which prone to more scratches but a hell of a lot difficult to crack.
So yes If you want your apple watch series 7 to at least not scratch just buy a 9h screen protector for it
Yeah, same thing they are doing with imacs why not give people the colours they want? Who whats a pink Mac?Apple pulled a sneaky last year with no dark grey or silver option at $399…. Gotta spend the big bucks for a professional looking watch 🤦♂️ I hate them so much for doing that.
I’m just glad I got the 6 two years ago, in a true dark grey.
I’m with you on the spending an extra $300 just for a professional looking color in the Apple Watch and iPhone. It’s infuriating. I strongly disagree with the concept of only making professional colors on the highest cost products :/Yeah, same thing they are doing with imacs why not give people the colours they want? Who whats a pink Mac?
And no I'll not pay the extra $$$ on a watch that gest updated every year and it will be outdated in 3 years just to have a steel case and darkgrey colour.
The fact is since Johnny Ive and Steve left apple they have been slowly turning into rubbish, spreading their devices so thin... I remember the days when they made 1 iPhone and that was the best phone you could get period... and if you didn't want to pay the price for that, bad luck you didn't get to have an apple product, it was always like that... they made good products but they had a price tag to it...
Now it feels like it's all about being second place and feeling every gap in the market... There is no innovation anymore.

So? Quick google of anything will show results.Quick google of broken apple watches.

Yes well said, you nailed in the had... but I'm one of those that have been using Apple pro products since the Machintosh 8100 (yes I'm that old), My first Apple was the Apple II PC. And it makes me really sad to see the line Apple is taking (as you explained so well focusing on producing products for everyone). I wish they focus their resources and power to produce the best products out there, even at a premium.I’m with you on the spending an extra $300 just for a professional looking color in the Apple Watch and iPhone. It’s infuriating. I strongly disagree with the concept of only making professional colors on the highest cost products :/
Also, exactly right: why is there a division of Apple users?! It should absolutely be like it used to be, where one expensive product is your ticket in.
But: I don’t think that Apple is completely devoid of innovation (though, yes, it’s slowed WAY down). What I think happened is that Apple back then was just focused on making the best product out there, and it was up to people to find a way to pay for it. And NOW, Apple has the market-share, and wants to continue growing it, and so is focused on only providing products to the widest net of users possible. Apple has become an upper-tier commodity product, where anyone can get their slice of Apple iOS Pie (heh. Pun.) They used to be a company that offered a Premium Product that was accessible only if you chose to spend the money.
Hence, the separation now is not between what it used to be with the iOS Owners and Android/Blackberry/Windows/webOS Owners; but between the Apple Commodity-tier Owners and the Apple ”Pro”-line SpendMores.
Since Apple has millions and millions of users now, it doesn’t HAVE to prove itself anymore: it doesnt HAVE to compete (not really) with anyone else. They know most Apple users aren’t going to switch at this point, and so they now have manifested this choice in consumers’ minds not between Apple or Else, but between Commodity Apple Level (just “good enough”) and Pro Apple Level (“insanely great” best).
Now whether Apple is making “insanely great” products anymore is a separate debate… with many points to consider.

Agree not claimable under warranty, but is claimable under Apple Care+These ads are such BS because when you break your watch playing tennis or soccer we all know they aren’t covering that under warranty.
