That’s awesome! I’ll bet you’ll be able to talk them into replacing the batteries for your charging case and the AirPods too, even though you didn’t buy that rip off $29 apple care+. You really got over on them 👍

Are you talking about taking them out of the case? Because that's not how you take them out. MacRumours had an article about it, where you are supposed to press the top of the airpods towards you to take them out. No pinching or pulling the tip.

If that's not what you are talking about... I guess I am going to come across as a douche know-it-all...

No, removing the rubber tips. I figured out the new way to remove them shortly after having them and noticing how it spins into the cutout when you just drop em back in to charge.

But those tips... those things are *on there*. My statement is verrrry exaggerated, but at the end of it all -- it requires a lot more effort than you may think at first pull, and a much harder pull than you'd think they can take without tearing them apart.

for me a couple of weeks after getting my AirPods Pro, I ordered a replacement through the app and I do not have apple care + and still I was not charged for the replacement .. just FYI
