Nothing.. It seems like forever now since Apple gave us something cool. (For the MAC, I'm not talking about iPods or phones..)
NAB will most likely bring Final Cut though, so that could be the floodgates opening if we're lucky. iLife, iWork, Logic, Aperture and not to forget Leopard..
All this applications could get something soon, but it seems Leopard has put everything on hold. If these things are not released at NAB, I sure hope they are previewed and announced.

Hmm... Musikmesse goes through the 31st. Any chance that Apple will still announce it in the next two days?

It's just curious that Apple would rent three whole booths. What are they doing with them, proudly demoing non-updated technology that feels about five years old? Maybe that Logic 7.3 slip is correct. If the musikmesse people have inside information on this, then that would also explain why Apple is hidden from the 'browse exhibitors' list and you have to search for them specifically. (It would be disappointing if this just turned out to be a point upgrade, though, and not the huge revamp that's not even called Logic.)

What was Apple doing at MusikMesse even though they didn't announce anything?

There is always an apple representative present at a music convention even though they have nothing to anounce.

The AES convention would more likely be the event for Logic 8's release.
AES is scheduled for May 5-8 in SF

Is it my imagination, or is almost nothing ever announced at Frankfurt these days? (by any music company). If they do announce anything, it's usually just a re-announcement of a product introduced at NAMM... Just in case the world had already forgotten about it.

(e.g. Mackie Control Pro... which frankly wasn't exciting enough to warrant much press at NAMM either)

So no surprise here about Logic updates... just mild disappointment.

Apple is surely playing around with us.
Everyone seems to be on the edge now days including me:D
