Ugh, you beat me to it! I was just logging in to say my wife's 16 is about 5 hours from our house (Allentown, PA)! Maybe it'll be here before the 16th?
Mine is still processing though: 32 wifi, black. Which is ironic, considering I ordered mine first and her about an hour later.

Ha, same thing here, but I did both in the same order. My black 16 gig wifi shipped, nothing on my black 32 gig wifi.

Ordered my 64gb, black wifi & $G (ok 3G really) March 8th at about 08:00am and got confirmation e-mail at 08:21. Both confirmed delivery 16th and, so far, no e-mail about delays to delivery.
I am based in Scotland (not too far from Edinburgh) if that helps the questions asked hours ago.
So much for information - really I'm not too concerned. Sure I have planned my whole day on the 16th around the new toy - it is my first iPad - but in the grand scheme of things a few days delay wouldn't hurt.
The very best of luck to everyone expecting to get the new iPad - I really hope it turns up sooner rather than later.

Well, I'm based in the US and I haven't gotten ANY email about when mine is shipping. I got a confirmation email stating that my order went through and I can expect it on the 16th but I haven't gotten one of these "Your order is ready to ship, here's your tracking number" emails.
But then, I also ordered a new Apple TV, so maybe that's the delay. I haven't seen any shipping confirmations online for the Apple TVs, so maybe they are waiting for that to be added.
I'm getting it delivered to my wife's work, so I want to be sure it's coming on a day she will be there. Also, I spent so much time waiting for the Apple Store to actually load when I was making my order, I don't want to find out my order is being delayed.
Well, I just got an email my iPad is shipping. That kind of puts down my theory that they were waiting on the Apple TV. But then...why hasn't my Apple TV shipped yet? They are still "Processing" it. .-_.- Hmmm
Mine says shipped, looks like the iPads were already in the US (Ontario, CA), Fedex shows "Requested future delivery" shipping via overnight delivery for Friday March 16, 2013 by 3:00 PM.

Ordered mine just before midnight on launch day (black 16gb wifi + 4G) and have been delayed until 21 Mar. My delivery address was Perth, Scotland - however, I won't be in Perth on the new date so I've changed the delivery address to London, where I work. Will be interesting to see if that changes things...
I've been following this thread since before I posted and still following it obviously. I'm actually a bit concerned now. UK folks have said 21st of March again, which is a few days, disappointing etc but, not too bad to be fair. I seem to be the only one who's order has been delayed by a whole TWO weeks? Even people who ordered after I did have said they've had a delay email but, only to say the 21st?
Might have to give them a call in the morning find out what's happening. 21st I could cope with, two weeks, it won't be "new" any more then with regards to what I have planned for it.

Preparing for shipment
I ordered a black 32GB Wifi only model at lunchtime (UK) on Thursday. Confirmation e-mail arrived at 12.30pm on the 8th. No follow-up e-mails about a delay and on-line it shows delivery expected on the 16th still (although some people are saying that's not reliable). However, the status has changed to "Preparing for shipment" some time in the last few hours so I'm reasonably confident it'll arrive on time. A friend who lives a few miles away ordered the same model on Thursday evening and his delivery date is estimated as the 29th!
As has been pointed out by others, it won't be the end of the world if it is delayed, but it would be nice to have it next Friday.
For the record, I'm upgrading from an iPad 2. Only got that because I needed to develop apps for some customers. Always intended to wait for the retina version of the iPad but sometimes work dictates when you have to adopt certain technology. Still, I'm not too worried, I have offers from friends to buy my iPad 2 so it'll have a good home after next week. Haven't told the wife yet (it's a business expense so what's not to like?)

From reading this thread I do get the feeling that orders which have been delayed are down to location

I ordered at 8.27pm on Wednesday on the phone to Apple and mine still says "Processing items". I ordered 32GB black WiFi and I live in NW.
I think the 32gb +4G must be being produced from scratch in China. On the other hand - remember those shipments we heard about a week or so ago. I bet those were Apple stocking up on WiFi models throughout the country.

Clicking refresh on the white ones FedEx page, hoping to see it show up in FedEx. The wife is pissed.....

Feeling for those facing delays. My order page now says preparing to ship as of a few hrs ago, so I hope that means no more surprises
64Gb white ordered around 2am local (UK) time on the 8th, heading to the sunny South West on the 16th.
I'm guessing this is one of the less (the least? Would be good to see some stats on that. MR, a poll is called for) popular models, so hopefully that will save me from a delay. Although presumably there will be fewer units of the less popular models available on the day since Apple will know their market pretty well by now...
