Can't wait to get my hands on the Apple Watch. I'm not bothered to much about the 12" Retina Air. In fact, I see no point. Having 12", 13" and 15" MacBook's on sale is silly. Bring back the 17" and simply have 15" and 17" across all the Air and Pro family! Won't happen but... Just sayin'.

I'm sure the Watch will spectacular in its own right, but something about the idea of interacting with a screen that small just seems off to me.

It's for quick glances and short interactions, sure. Still can't shake the feeling that a screen that small is a weird thing to do anything with beyond checking the time.

I look forward to being proven wrong, though.

At this point, facing another 4-8 percent in. of snow, forget the watch... I'll be happy just to have spring. :D

I like taking the day off to experience these events but the last 2 times were just brutal to watch with all the tech issues they were having. I'll save my off day when they announce the iphone 6s. That will probably be worse but I'm preying that they correct viewing issues by then.

Just once - ONCE - in my life I would love to have the chance to attend one of these things in person.

It's been 2-3 years since Apple last did an event in March. The last one was since 2012 when 'The new iPad' was released.

Can you feel the hype yet?
YES I CAN! :D :apple:Watch :apple:Watch :apple:Watch :apple:Watch

apple watch will be a dud
Said Darkcasm.

These banners seem snappier.
They improved the coding, and added more RAM

Where did we get the color names "pistachio" and "Honeydew"...what color is "honeydew" anyway?
Heard "Chocolate" "Banana" "Strawberry" "Blueberry"

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
WAKE UP!

I've never read an article talking so much about the colours of a banner...
There is always first time for everything.

Here it is...

As of current it serves no purpose.
Perhaps not to you, but let me tell you a little story about a certain college student who could give two hooies about his gen-ed math and science requirements. You see, with a smartwatch that is compatible with my iPhone 6 and that can also store documents/photos on it, I can log all the formulas to my heart's content to it. I will simply roll my sleeve down should anyone become suspicious. I use math and science for reference, but really it would work in any class on exam day. I also enjoy the possibilities for work: "Hey, get off your phone!"
"Me? You got it, mack." (Goes to wrist to play with watch)

But seriously, after a couple years and everyone and their brother has wearable technology on, it will see the same restrictions that the smartphone saw. Professors will have students dump their smartwatches in a box at the start of class because even the youngest of them will catch on that students are using them for the scenario I have described to you. Sucks for people who will just have an actual watch :D. Lucky for me the smartwatch craze won't kick in until right when I leave college.

My sentiment exactly. With the recent uptrend in screen sizes for iPhones, I can't see myself using a tinier screen as a "remote" for my iPhone that's in my pocket. I'd rather just take out my iPhone and do what I have to do.

But if it sells, more power to Apple. I'm just not an iWatch buyer.

Amen. I really hope it's not an hour for a watch. Watch might be cool, but it doesn't get my heartrate up like a new MBA.

Yeah, it would be a yawn of a media event if it's just a refresher for the Apple Watch. After reminding us that the Apple Watch is coming, maybe a surprise iOS 9 preview (yeah I know, unlikely), followed by a surprise MBA retina announcement (maybe more likely)!!!

I think it's more of a test to see what happens after the initial rush of "OMG, I must have that" crowd. Just like the iPad mini was a test which did well at first, but now...:(
