No link for webcast?

It's 5:21 EST. I'm at the page for the webcast, but where is the link for the audio?

EDIT: Whoops... it's next Wednesday! Silly me :p

Which just proves the old adage "There's a sucker born every minute."

The Last PowerBook update was a joke.
Lets inventory the Amazing new and improved upgraded parts.

Hmmm a whole 130 mhz upgrade *Yawn*
Hmmm Blue Tooth 2.0 *Snooze*

Wow that was an incredible list.

Oh wait they also broke the touchpad.

But loserman...

You're completely forgetting the rather considerable price drop that accompanies those updates. Plus the 12" got a nice upgrade from 1.33 to 1.5 right?

The price drop, speed bump and a few new features is a mature product re-release.

IMO the PowerBook has a wonderful design. I love mine but I think they are considerably underpowered. The processor is aging and the GPU is poor and the laptops memory performance is sad.

IMO the name should be changed from PowerBook to FeebleBook.
They are seriously lagging in performance of late. I mean think about it the last real update was the change from the Titanium to the Aluminum.
Which was a decent update but nothing outstanding.

I have $4000 waiting for a real update to the line. I would love to see a the Freescale dual core 2.0GHZ chip added. With the GPU changed to either a Radeon X800 or Nvidia Geforce 6800 Go.

I would kill for one configured like that.

But I do have a gripe with their supply. Announcing an item and not being able to buy it immediately drives the geek insane. Perhaps that's a marketing thing but I still have a bad taste in my mouth and I learned that expect 2 months after release/announcement before you can really get the good stuff.

As an early adopter in the computer field since 1985, I think Apple has done a pretty good job of announcing new products and following up with tangible products in a timely manner. I can't think of any "vaporware" announce by the folks in Cupertino. On the otherhand, how long have we been expecting Longhorn from those wonderful people in Redmond?
:)

I'm really wondering if they went up, or down. The iPods have been selling a lot but i feel the sales have died down. I think they may have dropped a little. But once Tiger comes out, i think it will boost them back up.

For the love... I made the same mistake :(
That's all that got me through classes this morning, looking forward to hearing how many computers were sold...
How sad is that, anyway?

Should be a blowout quarter

Still holding my remaining 500 (post split) shares. Analysts have all upped their estimates.

Though you might be interested in the attached chart plotting Apple Web Store sales. Growth has been phenomenal.
