Holy Ba-jee-vees.

Was there a lot of complaints from people that were being put off by the 25k limit on their contacts?

I was slightly over 1k when i merged my wife's contact with mine. I could not handle that. Still pruning but down to 750 right now.

How charmingly useless.

How about raising iCloud storage tiers? Flickr gives you a TERABYTE for free. A freaking terabyte. This is embarrassing Apple!

Thank goodness!

Do you know how awkward it is when one of your friends finds out she's not in your "top 25 thousand"?

Now double iTunes match limit please..

5GB free? Should be at least 10-15GB

Cool. Now please up the storage limits on iCloud photo library to make it usable for people with large libraries, thanks! :)

It could be to fix all the mis-merged address books we end up with when adding our disparate email accounts to our phones and computers... I can't tell you how many times I've had to go back through and un-duplicate everything.

To be fair, Flickr is a public photo tool that tries to make money off your stuff. iCloud is more personal and private by default. I made a Flickr account recently and it tried REALLY hard to make everything I do public.

25,000 calendar events limit is probably the one that should be raised instead.

If you average 10 calendar events per day, which isn't unrealistic for busier folks, you will hit the limit within 7 years.

I was wondering what 50,000 looks like and it turns out to be the capacity of Turner Field in Atlanta.

If you want to be on my contacts list there is a small $1 a year subscription fee and some in-app purchase opportunities*. I have only 49,960 spaces available, so hurry!

* for only a dollar more I will not require your SS#.

a coworker has 2000+ contacts in her address book.

all I want from contact is a good picture that would sync great with icloud.com, iphone, and my Air. Custom ringtones that would sync through out the devices and on icloud.com would be great too.
They're not there yet.

This.

I logged into make this exact comment, and I'm not disappointed that the MR crowd beat me to it. :)

Same here. I'm surprised that it took until the second page.

Although, my wife and I are only at 12,910 songs at the moment, so we have some room to grow.

Funny thing, Apple actually gives you an unlimited amount of storage for video's and photos. It appears, at least from my tests, that if you share an event, it doesn't count agains your cap. Give it a try.

14 years of using Apple Contacts (effortlessly migrating from iTools > .Mac > MobileMe > iCloud).... and still only 964 contacts. :)

Classic example of modern entitlement syndrome.

Get off your high horse and PAY for what you want!
