I guess a 50$ uplift in the 18 line pricing then to account for this generosity by apple 😢Tell me you’re about to dramatically raise prices without telling me you’re about to dramatically raise prices.
Yeah, how dare you, Apple! You should have lowered the trade-in values, really stick it to them.really apple? really.. 🙃
Precisely!Tell me you’re about to dramatically raise prices without telling me you’re about to dramatically raise prices.
Masters of controlling the narrative…really apple? really.. 🙃
Are they raising in the UK as well?
They want to give me approx 1050 USD (CHF 950.—) for a 96GB RAM 2TB M4 Max MacStudio. Not that I want to trade it in; I‘m very happy with that machine. It‘s however not the kind of money that would tempt me… 🤪2024 MacBook Air (M4 16/512) has a $745 trade-in value. I paid slightly more than $900 for it. RAMaggedon cuts both ways.
I think the increases in the iPhone trade-in value is very telling of the upcoming iPhone 18 price increases. iPhone trade-in values of the previous year models are usually roughly 50% of its original price. Since the trade-in value of the various iPhone 16 models went up around $25, I expect the price increase for the iPhone 18 models to be roughly double that...$50.
None of the 2025 iPhone models have been added yet, wait until the new ones are released. No mention of the iPhone Air...
