I guess a 50$ uplift in the 18 line pricing then to account for this generosity by apple 😢

This is good, always helps to be able to keep your cord and block, but honestly Apple giving me $190 more doesn't make up for the fact that Best Buy is saving me $500 off the same MBP! Even the 3% for buying with Apple Card doesn't offset this. I usually prefer to buy from Apple but not making sense right now!
PS- Not holding out for the MBP Ultra as we all know the 1st gen will have stale chips and have some new product quirks in a gen 1 device... Who's with me?

I like how the Mac mini's trade in value is almost the same as the price I paid for it (500$)...

Glad to see this. I'm debating upgrading from my 13Pro now or waiting for the 18 (and related sticker shock). Now i just have to compare Apple and their 3% card benefit vs T-Mo and their criminal neglect of Simple Choice plan users.
