Am I the only one who thinks the people in these ads are really annoying??
Maybe I'm just a jealous iPhone 4 user, but these people just look really annoying.

I love how iPhone commercials actually speaks about things the phone can do i real life situations.

As opposed to motorola for example which makes it commercials look like a poor mans version of Blade Runner.

I don't like the music in these commercials. I don't really like these commercials. Their not that creative, rebellious, inspiring, cool as they used to be... And as amazing as SIRI is I don't think her voice or cadence is ready for prime time on the commercials, it sounds kind of cheap and stilted...

So are they suppose to be using imported Dub-Step filler music and Quick zoom shots?

:p

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_0 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9A334 Safari/7534.48.3)

These are great

I hope Siri works well with British English. I would never ask "what's my day look like" as it isn't a correct sentence.

In the US, they use contractions differently than in Brittish English.

That sentence is the contracted form of "What does my day look like?"

Don't get me started on Hawaii English... I'm still having troubles parsing a lot of sentences. Isn't language wonderful?

I'm waiting on the "English Weegie" setting for Siri.

User: "Pyoor burstin' fur a pish, where's the nearest bog, hen"?

Siri: "A'fun this fur ye, the nearest bog is up aheid ... there's a lane oan yer right hawn side ye can nip in tae fur a quick slash".

Although I agree with your push for a more natural voice for Siri, you've lost credibility. This is the 2nd wrong use of "their" in two pages of a single thread. Is it really that hard to learn the difference? It seems like such an enormous struggle for people nowadays. Maybe I'm old-fashioned. I just don't understand the challenge. I don't know.

Anyway, how would Apple make Siri's voice more fluid? Is it even possible since she has to piece together individual words instead of just set phrases?

There's more than one African American person in this world, by the way.

How do you know he's African American?

Just for clarification: African American implies someone who came from Africa and now lives here. Most blacks are in fact not African Americans, they're just Americans. I find the distinction important. :)

There's something very soothing about Apple Ads. It's a nice antidote to the "ARE YOU MANLY ENOUGH FOR THE MOTOROLA DROID?"

I really like the iCloud one because it shows all of Apple's products in a ecosystem that works. Plus all their other products are beautiful.

The iCloud video has great attention to detail by the way. The shots of the first device show the same time on the status bar as the second device that is syncing. Also, why is only the iCloud ad in 1080?

Apple needs to post a lot more "what can I do with siri" things. Trial and error isn't working out for me. :(

"remind me when..." is one thing that works really well.

Say "help" and Siri will give you a list of things it can do. You can tap on an item in the list for more details.

This phrase ''the most amazing iPhone YET'' makes you pause and think...
'maybe I should wait for the next one'.

Yeah, because before this ad, everyone assumed this would be the last iPhone ever made, or that future iPhones would somehow be worse. Great analysis there.

have always liked their commercials.. I find it kind of funny that they're increasing their advertisements even when they have no immediate stock! :D

That's the point. People tring to buy it will see out of stock and think that it gets sold out cause is so good.

everybody should commit this to memory: http://theoatmeal.com/comics/misspelling

 What???? The MacBook Air, iPad and the iMac are all in the iCloud ad but where's the MacBook Pro????
You can't include everything, you only have X amount of time time. And honestly most people don't have two laptops, a desktop and iPad and the iPhone, so that might be an odd thing to show in an add.

Here's an accurate ad tagline: Want your Safari book marks mangled?
iCloud can do that automatically for you and make sure there mangled on
all of your other devices within mere moments... Surf different...
Never happened to me either(not that that proves anything). There are always going to be glitches in technology, but a large bookmark Safari syncing issue isn't something I've ever read/heard about.

"Wonderful" indeed :p

"What does my day look like" is also incorrect English, but no doubt correct "American".

It's a shame that the American people didn't declare American as its own language, since it differs from English (as used by the English), quite dramatically.

Well said. People never mention where the white Americans are from...
