I'm discussing screen resolution, not the amazing A12 chip that people are having issues with stuttering video playback with or poor LTE cellular and WiFi reception on the crappy Intel modems.

Actually, the “crappy” Intel model is unlikely to be the problem. I’m fact, it’s supposed to be a very good modem. The problem is actually the antenna.

The only good thing about an lcd is no screen burn in compared to the Xs phones that use oled. My note 8 already has a very slight faint burn in on the bottom border area of Youtube videos. I only had the phone 1 year and its already doing that, so if you guys keep those iPhones past a year, the screen might be all jacked up. Some people keep their iphones for at least 3 or 4 years, so you might want to rethink getting the Xs/Xs Max and just get the Xr.

Another two issues are the colour shifting, and the higher power consumption when screen brightness is high (despite popular belief that OLED power usage is low).

Yikes!
Your sister?
What’s next the pizza man on the corner?
Dude, you’re on a forum.
Your sister’s ancdetoal experience don’t mean, ...well you know the rest.
Guess you're right, none of our opinions mean nada, since it is all anecdotal

I so want the Red version. I already have the Red iPhone 7. The missing 3D Touch doesn’t bother me much because I’ve only ever used it to quickly use either the wifi or cellular options.
I agree. I only use 3D Touch to move the cursor, but that's an iOS 12 feature now thats available on all devices. So, I'm good.
