No way they do that. Easy money. 99 cents a month from everyoneIts about they raised the storage level of the basic iCloud.
OneDrive? Dear Lord...Too late, Apple! Last year I paid for upgraded iCloud storage. The syncing on Windows was totally broken. I finally gave up and migrated everything to OneDrive. At least OneDrive is usable on my Mac. The same could not be said of iCloud on Windows… At this point I don’t intend to migrate again…
I would like to challenge that statement - OneDrive on the Mac is usable. As I mentioned earlier, I tried it for a week and went back to iCloud. It just wouldn't sync properly. And I had already moved stuff out of iCloud so I had the hassle of putting it all back!Too late, Apple! Last year I paid for upgraded iCloud storage. The syncing on Windows was totally broken. I think it works well. The iCloud locations show up in Explorer and the Photos app. If you use OneDrive and files on demand it is similar to that. How do iCloud photos in the photo library app work? Or is it just a glorified web app?
It still doesn’t work.Does anyone know if this fixes the iCloud Shared Passwords not showing up? I can see my personal passwords but anything shared isn't there since the release of iOS 17.
Yup. Had to deal with this yesterday with an NTSF link because my drive didn't have enough space to sync my 175gb worth of photos. Ridiculous.New "features," yet iCloud Photos is still locked to the C:\ drive.
Did it work for you syncing bookmarks? I was hoping this update would fix things but it still doesnt work.I can never get my bookmarks to sync, hopefully this fixes it but not holding my breath
Mine showed up in the updates section of MS store…might have to do the uninstall."Existing users simply need to update the app to obtain the new design and improvements."
I feel like I'm being an idiot, but how do I do that? I don't see any update option in the current app and when I follow the MS store link it just says I already have it installed. Trying to avoid uninstalling and reinstalling.
That was it! I had to go into the MS store and manually scan for all app updates. Weird that it wouldn't tell me there was an update when I clicked on the app in the store, but I guess I'm used to the Apple store.Mine showed up in the updates section of MS store…might have to do the uninstall.
