AppleOne is a temporary agency. 20+ years ago when in grad school I worked through them.

But I would like a Time Machine-like ability to back up, restore or mirror all Macs through iCloud.

Also make iTunes Match a service through Apple Music.

And Siri still sucks. They gave up their early advantage.

Pretty sure match has always been a part of Apple music

Excited about this upcoming Apple game console, but they numbered it wrong. It should start from Apple 360, than Apple S, then it would be the turn for Apple One

The main point of a bundle is to use a more popular service (possible Apple Music) to help prop up a weaker one (likely Apple News in this case).

Being allowed to pick and choose your own services would defeat the whole point, especially if it just means that you end up choosing only the services you would have subscribed at any rate, while paying less overall.

Yeah well thats your opinion, not mine. I don't subscribe to any of them, because I don't find them particularly good value as it stands, but if the price was better in a bundle, I could give them a try.

I'm certainly not interested in propping up Apple's weak services with my wallet.

It's not surprising that Apple are doing this. It's a common business tactic and a successful one.

Problem is none of the Apple services are best in class or even solid in class. I guess you could argue Apple Music, but anecdotally, many people complain about it.

I can't imagine them bundling services that are popular with users already like Music with iCloud. They'll add in a service that nobody wants and make it just a little more expensive than the cost you'd pay for the 2 services you wanted. A bit like a combo meal at a burger joint. Nobody wants a drink, but you can get a drink with your meal for just an extra 50 cents! Little does the consumer know that those drinks cost about 5 cents a pop!

He won't be after Tim's goons get done with him
That's true, if you gain a major worldwide presence and can argue that the whole business case relies on this brand, you can argue in dispute resolution that the domain should be transferred over to you as anyone else are merely looking at profiting and are not bona fide. The days of domain parking in the hope of a quick, albeit later profit, is long gone. These practices are frowned upon by the Courts. Well at least I advocate them and free market to the extent it is not done in detriment of the consumer. I don't like scalpers that with ill intent are trying to squeeze legitimate businesses. Remember the toilet tissue/hand sanitiser crisis or selling medication that cost £0.50 and are selling at £15

I understand the idea of the bundle, and most companies that have multiple services do have bundles....

But I find this totally uninteresting to me personally, I get the $0.99 iCloud and am still on my free AppleTV subscription I never watch. I just don't see myself ever paying for a bundle. They just don't have a service I really want.

Sounds like to me Tuesday will be a very uninteresting and disappointing event. Time doesn't fly during boring presentations....

As long as you understand the idea is to make apple more revenue not cut you a deal. You just think you’re getting a better deal (wow. Atv+ lol) but will pay more than you are currently.

Hope you can mix and match which you want to bundle. I’d use Apple Music and Apple TV+ for $12 a month. But don’t use News or Arcade. If not, I’m not interested. Name doesn’t bother me. (+) would be better.

Apple Music + iCloud Drive, please!
never going to happen. this service is to try to get people to pay a little less for their garbage worthless stuff like news and TV. I would not expect anything that works in the favor of the general customer here. which is a shame

Why? Choose what 3 items you want in a bundle?

If you are choosing a la carte what is in your bundle, then why don't you just buy the services separately? The only incentive for a company to create a bundle is so that they can sell their weaker services better by attaching them to their real marquee sellers in a way that reads as a deal to a consumer
