Nice...but take another stab at spelling "San Francisco."

Amateurs.

:p ;)

(As I recall, didn't one of the fake Apple "special event" invitations get tripped up for the same reason?)

 OOPS!!!

Gimme a sec and I'll fix it.

Personally I would have gone with "baby-eatingly good".. but otherwise, that is kick ass Chundles! Good one on ya!

That's technically correct but it just doesn't sound right, I wanted a sort of link in with the old "Finger-licking good" KFC advert.

Can't beleeve I made such a seereus speling mistayke.

Better. Now, about the date. November 11th is Veterans Day in the US, a federal holiday. Apple definitely wouldn't hold an event then. ;) :D

Yeah, It's Remembrance Day here. Not a public holiday though, just a minute silence at 11am.

But dude, 11/11 for OS 11? The ad just writes itself...and it's 11/11 for both here and there. None of this month/day confusion.

I dont care if lions are lazy bums and only sleep all day long. I think OSX Lion sounds pretty freaking cool to me. Besides, if you ask anyone to name a large wild cat they will ALL say lion with in the first 3 answers. Besides Lions are Kings of the jungle just like Mac OS is King of all OS's. It just makes since!

How about for Mac OS XI we go with marsupials.

11.0 - Wombat
11.1 - Koala
11.2 - Bandicoot
11.3 - Opossum
11.4 - Kangaroo
11.5 - Tasmanian Devil

Yeah lynx is a text based web browser. ;)

Seriously. Lynx was my first experience with the internet (on some old, green VAX machines -- I think that's what they were called?). I remember using Gopher a lot, too.

If Apple does introduce an OS named Lynx, it had better have some freaking new, cutting edge Internet tools/apps/experiences. The expectation is built into the name.

Don't know how the Liger measures up but the Liger only exists because of human intervention - I know it's a damned big animal though...

Mac OSX 10.6 Liger
Bred for it's skills in magic®

Perhaps Steve Jobs is actually a Thundercats fan. Now all the cats are being used up, maybe he'll resort to something like the following:

OS X 10.6: Lion
OS X 10.7: Mutant Vulture/Monkey/Jackal
OS X 10.8: Ro-bear Berbil
OS X 10.9: The Ever-Living! Ahhh-haa-haa-haaa.

Or maybe not.
