Since I downloaded OSX 10.5.3. and not corrected by the latest airport utility download the other day
Ive been unable to wirelessly connect with one of my Macs while the other two continue to receive the signal just fine.
I can connect with a cable with no problems, of course.
The MacBook that fails is a Macbook 2.1 with airport cards as follows
Wireless Card Type: AirPort Extreme (0x168C, 0x87)
Wireless Card Locale: USA
Wireless Card Firmware Version: 1.3.5
Current Wireless Network: Calvin
Wireless Channel: 1
The other (older) Macbook 1,1 that works fine has an airport card as follows:
Wireless Card Type: AirPort Extreme (0x168C, 0x86)
Wireless Card Locale: USA
Wireless Card Firmware Version: 1.3.5
Current Wireless Network: Calvin
Wireless Channel: 1
My router/modem is a Netgear DG834G v2 54Mbps Wireless ADSL Firewall Router it is about 4 years old.
This happened onc before about a year ago and was fixed by an OS or airport update.
Any ideas short of buying an Airport Express router?
