No problems here... 2.4 i5 MBP 15", OSX 10.7.2, Aperture 3.2.

After I first upgraded to Lion, Aperture was running dog slow... way slower than under Snow Leopard. Not sure what they did, but this new version is unbelievably fast.

Cheers,

Better, almost good...the old version was not fit for purpose.

I was on the point of an uninstall but now the upgrade has solved a lot (not all) of the memory hog problems. IT WAS AWFUL! A bug on the Apple skin.
Yes I noticed the 'crop' problem.. pretty poor implementation of such a critical tool.
I also noticed more corrupt imports.
Having used a lot of image editing software I now think it is (quite) good, though the 'archiving' could be better for very big library. It needs facilities to customise more personal places.
I love the editing brushes (now they respond without a lag), very like Nix CX2. I like the volatile non destructive nature of the editing. Not too fond of the 'lock' in that denies me access to Picasa Web albums or other customised places.
Face recognition not a patch on Google's Picasa.

A wish list for Ap4..... better masks. HDR tool. Maybe some filters and lens corrections. NO BUGS. Better memory handling. My Hdisk still works in overdrive.
Still not a patch on PS CS5 but that is a different deal.
For the price it is now OK (bugs omitted). Though Picasa is free and for an enthusiastic amateur represents excellent 'easy to use' value.
Why doesn't Apple buy Nik Software?
