Is anyone getting email banners when they open Mail? This is a weird thing which didn't happen on 18.

I unchecked alerts in Mail settings as I read this resolves the banner issue, but then I don't get any notifications at all.

I had to re-read your comment to grok it... are you saying that the banners are popping in immediately after opening the app that generates them? That certainly sounds like a strange bug; if you haven't already, download the Feedback Assistant app and report it.

Hi mate, yup. When I open the Mail app, on occasions email banners drop down for emails which were received a fair time ago.

I have the feedback app so will report it now.

dunno boss
Don’t worry I do it was added afterwards. Kind of like they will probably add Watch OS to the first sentence now that it’s out too.

Don’t worry someone already said Watch OS PB is out so you just gotta wait for the article to update before you question the tipsters reading comprehension!

If you need any more proof you should probably read the whole article noting there is nothing in there about TV OS since it wasn’t out when the article was released. Also read the tags where you won’t see TV OS because they only changed the first sentence and not the rest including the tags.

Apple thank you for your innovation in software and hardware. Could you extend that innovative spirit toward a solution for multiple personal spaces? Maybe brand it so it's for single users only to have a few separate spaces for home, work, personal etc.
??

multiple users. could be re-branded to "severance" or something like that. as its really for one person, to have multiple separated "severed" spaces. I figure severance could work well as a cross promotion for the hit apple TV series, while at the same time giving users much better privacy/security beyond just "Require FaceID", you know, since apple is all about privacy and security on multiple fronts, what better way to give people the ultimate in privacy - multiple users, just brand it and make it so its only for one user.

What is this massive tick for which totally covers over the text box on all forums? I have a feeling it's a default search bar,but it rather stupidly placed.

It appears to be the standard form navigation controls; the iOS version of Firefox puts the up/down controls on the right side next to a textual "Done" button, but the functionality is the same. The controls obviously don't help much in this forum, since there's usually only the one input field to worry about.

And yes; Apple's new form navigator does take up a little bit more vertical space than the same bars in other iOS browsers. I would personally stop short of calling it "massive"... but I'm using a Pro Max; I would hazard a guess that you're not. (Plus, you seem to have an alternate keyboard installed which adds yet another row of buttons; perhaps that's exacerbating the crowding issue.)
