According to measurements taken by the Noise app on the Apple Watch, this new firmware has significantly improved the decibels cut by the ANC.

Previously, the average reduction was 24dB, but now it’s 27/28dB!

The firmware seems to have addressed the extreme pressure/headache issue I had if ANC is turned on and volume low or off with the AP4.

I took a usb cable and plugged it into my phone and the other end into the AirPod case with the AirPods in them and mine updated in less than 15 minutes.
