As soon as I installed it, I get:

"Messages in iCloud not available" "Messages in iCloud is not available because iCloud and iMessage accounts are different". Before this beta, I didn't have a problem with messages in the cloud.
Did you ever have a “.me” account?
Does it SHOW that your accounts are different?

I enjoyed checking out the betas until I discovered Apple basically invalidates AppleCare if you install one. I don't understand their reasoning, but I guess I'll just wait for the official releases.
Where did you get that idea? Apple FAQ says they don’t kill AC. AC advisors aren’t keen on helping resolve beta caused bugs though. Learned this with the APFS FusionDrive fiasco.

Anyone able to get air play 2 to work? I can bounce between my Apple TV and HomePod, but can’t get them to play the same song at the same time. I have 11.4 on the Atv and my iPad. Thx

From what I've heard that requires you to also have AirPlay 2 on the HomePod itself, which isn't possible right now because there is no beta software of 11.4 released for it. AirPlay 2 is working in the iOS beta, but if one of the devices you're streaming to hasn't added support for it yet, then it will simply stream via AirPlay 1 to that device, hence it can't stream simultaneously in your case.

When I used to install the betas, I'd call Apple with a technical question about my iPhone (under AppleCare warranty) and the person on the other end would say that since I installed the beta they couldn't help me (regardless of the problem). I would first have to reinstall the last sanctioned OS. Basically, once I installed the beta, any problem with my phone was MY problem, not theirs.
You're looking at it from a skewed point of view. If the beta is possibly causing the issue then it makes perfect sense for them to ask you during troubleshooting to revert to a non-beta release to diagnose it. Hardware is still perfectly under warranty.

When my touchscreen died they didn't require me to revert it to a stable release. It was a known issue and they swapped my iPhone out immediately.

Since installing this beta, I’m getting the enter your iTunes Store account password every few hours.
Not sure what is going on exactly... besides that, everything is perfect.

Anyone else with this problem?

Well he/she is not wrong so far. Seems like people are having issues already...
New betas always have bugs!

Final releases do to... hopefully fewer bugs, and less severe ones, than the previous release. No guarantees though.

Such is the reality of software development. (And throwing more people at it probably NOT the answer.)

So far all I have found out about AirPlay 2 is that it takes 2 times longer to connect and 2 time more disappointing then the original version.

Apple talks a big game about how bad Bluetooth is for ease and speed of connectivity, and then turned around and crippled a service that, at best, takes longer then Bluetooth to share content between products made by the same company. I can cast to a Google Home speaker, or even a Bluetooth speaker, in seconds, trying to show video on my Apple TV from iPad takes now, easily, 20+ seconds, or not at all, the Apple TV just flashes a spinner on screen repeatedly for 30 seconds and then gives up.

I guess we need several more point releases until Airplay 2 is at least as good as Airplay 1. But hey, at least now I can poorly stream content to all TV's in my house...

I had the same issue, in one place I was using an old version of iCloud email domain. I made use to use name@iCloud.com everywhere and I was ok.
my icloud email is my gmail address that is linked with my icloud email address. My text message email is connected with that same icloud email.

no I didn't. It shows that I'm using my gmail address thats associated with my icloud address for icloud, but i'm using my icloud address for the text messaging.

*Resolved*, well at least for me. From another poster, "Yes. I resolved it by logging out of iMessages (Settings/Messages/Send & Receive) and logging back in. Then I could turn on iMessages in the iCloud settings."

stupid question, I removed beta profile for this release, is there a way to delete the flag on software update? I don't want it showing or downloading this beta..

you can remove a downloaded update in Settings, General, iPhone Storage... select the update in the list... and press delete button.

that said, after removing the profile and rebooting your device, it usually cancels everything.

I'm no longer updating and probably wouldn't if Apple hadn't forced me to to 10.3.

My iPhone 5s hasn't worked properly since IOS 10.3.2 and probably never will again. 11.3 practically bricks it. Even the phone app crashes! If the most basic function doesn't work, what's the point Apple? :(

Someone needs to sue over Apple forcing IOS updates to phones that cannot realistically run them and destroy their capability. I wish there was a way to go back to IOS 10.3.2. :(

Yet, got 5s that work here... And forced? Huh? Plug it in and do a clean install for Itunes.

I have one 5s in 11.4b1 and the other in 11.3b6. To me these old 5s phones feel brought back to life since iOS 7. The zip is back in these phones.

What you are experiencing is not normal behavior. I recommmend some trouble shooting steps.

Anyone having issues with cellular data after updating? Phone was fine and after updating I continually drop LTE. On AT&T.

Well, hopefully you aren't doing any personal banking or keeping any other sensitive information on those old devices then - because there have been some major security holes discovered in iOS since the iOS 7 days.
oh P-h-a-leaaase.. like anybody would want/be able to to hack my inbank app on my ios 8 ipad. Suuuuuure..
at least i can enjoy a snappy ipad air, thanks. too many ios devices were basically killed with update (i have a ipad 3 somewhere lying around on ios 9, it's unusable to a laughing points, like VIDEOS stuttering while wathing plex or youtube. cmon man), so there.

Based on the past, approximately how long will it be before the public (not beta) release of 11.4? Are we looking at 2 weeks? Longer? I'm anxious to get AirPlay 2 support in the my house, but I don't want to beta test.

On their education event, Apple has announced iOS 11.4 for June if I remember correctly. So anywhere between 2 - 3 months. Keep in mind though that there's no official confirmation that AirPlay 2 won't be removed from the beta again this time around.

Yep - this kind of thing is coming. It's what we've seen in movies of the future and what makes me more excited about where things are going - instead of the doom and gloom of AI and robots taking over the world.

Lets not get carried away, a robot revolution would be pretty cool too. :)

What are the odds this will be officially released to everyone within the next few months?

Try a hard reboot, and if that doesn’t fix it go to Settings->General->Reset->Reset Network Settings.
That usually fixes all connectivity issues that crop up after an update.
