I'm not saying I don't believe you, but it doesn't work on my 6 Plus, my 6s Plus, my wife's 6s, my iPad Air 2 or my wife's iPad Air 2.
I guess it's one of these things?
1. You're not doing it correctly (I doubt it).
2. All the iOSs on all your devices are corrupt in exactly the same way.
3. There is some common element that appears on ALL your devices that's causing the problem. A common app or setting perhaps?
4. You set up from a back up on all your devices and not as a clean install.
I'm guessing it's either 3 or 4. but it could be something else???
Edit: Have all your devices been powered off and then on again after updating the iOS?
Safari's way to request desktop site does not work on some sites.Request Desktop Site isn't available in 9.1. Also it never works anyway
Try a reset all settings first. That fixes a lot of strange issues and leaves your apps and data intact. Worth a try before a restore and it fast to do. Just run back through your settings u want and of course add back any wifi networks. So I know the issue was there in iOS 9.0 for my other devices. But I just checked again, since I hadn't bothered since 9.1 on my 6s Plus. None of the rest of the devices have this issue now except my 6s Plus.
*sigh*
Yeah... I have a feeling unless I completely reinstall from scratch and lose everything, including my Apple Watch data etc, I'll be stuck with this issue forever. Oh well.. sucks to be me, I guess!
Oh really? I don't think I had any more trouble than usual with those, but one release that's sticking out like a sore thumb to me was 4.0. I don't remember if I'm thinking of the final cut or the developer beta, but I do remember frustrating large bugs in that one. I think that was 2010 maybe? For many the initial versions of iOS 8 and 7 was considerably less stable and with more issues overall than iOS 9 has been.

But It appears that sometimes an album purchased from iTunes Store still shows download icon, although all songs in that album are all available offline.View attachment 596725 View attachment 596724 View attachment 596720 Apple Music now shows a mini phone icon with a check besides tracks and albums that are on your phone.
Icon has changed, I relive this was there before but now a mini icon.
Looks as if they are making room to show other icons in that area perhaps??
Also shows it on the album page, new iCloud download icon, when clicking album is added and then phone icon is with check it shown. When clicking that you can remove from phone or remove from music...
Added a shot of it downloading an album and the new mini icons as they download...
"Make available offline" changed to "download",
Making things much clearer with all these changes in Apple Music, awesome!
9.2b1 seems much smoother than 9.1. I do keep getting prompted to input my password for verification. That is slightly annoying...
i installed the 9.2 beta on my 6s plus and they fix chappy animation and stuttering ...Waiting for that iOS update that restores the fluidity of my devices. Am I the only one who appreciates buttery smooth 60 FPS system level animations?
I’m British. ‘Programme’ is the original British spelling of that which in American spelling is rendered as ‘program’. I use the latter for software and the former for the more general case of a planned sequence of future events. What exactly is a programme?
And here I'm almost disappointed when I install a flawless beta.I'm all for public testing, but I hate it when people become 'testers' and then complain when things don't work on their main device - acting like the software should be flawless!
Anything besides low volume and play count problems?
Thanks for the heads up, but I'll wait it out and watch people do actual video comparisons on YouTube before updating mine. I've started to lose faith in updates maintaining or improving the speed of my devices.i installed the 9.2 beta on my 6s plus and they fix chappy animation and stuttering ...

I've only noticed a slight improvement in frame rates after updating my iPad Air to 9.2. The app switcher seems to be a bit faster and smoother than 9.1. But the spotlight animations somehow got even worse and look even more laggy than before. I noticed that in 9.1, swiping left from home screen to get access proactive was buttery smooth - but now in 9.2 it is consistently choppy each time I tried. What specific results are you seeing? And on which devices? No need to wait. It's definitely a night/day difference from 9.1 on 6s Plus and Air 2.
You can tell battery life is insane within half an hour? Damn some people shouldn't be testers.![]()
Well 9.2 doesn't appear to change anything. e.g. mlssoccer.com still re-opens the mobile site when you request desktop site in 9.2.
And I CANNOT believe you still can't reorganize and SAVE the layout of the icons in Safari in that menu where you pick "request desktop site." Such a joke, Apple!

(Oh and they finally fixed the settings bug, hallelujah!)
The app icons in Siri app suggestions still lack better resolution.
P.S. My eyes are not crazy precise eagle eyes that can detect even the slight variation in frame rates. It's just when most of iOS is smoothly animated while some other areas are really choppy - that bothers me.
Obviously not updating my 6S+ to 9.2 PB, it's a beta so there will always be bugs.
