Apple Releases Fourth Public Beta of iOS 12

Now this is the error I get. I'll try again in the morning in a full charge.

I have this issue too. Tried again this morning with no luck. Tried restarts, resets, DNS, WiFi, iTunes update, remove and readding profile. Still unable to check for update.
 
Anyone having issues with the new betas where you plug the iPhone into the USB port in your automobile and the radio cannot index and find audio files to play? I may have to downgrade back to 11 if this doesn’t work. Need my tunes. If there’s a work around can anyone help me get this to work?
 
Iphone X (Europien Model) GPS problem again :(( Poor Signal.... Work only in outdoor. Full reset not help. Back to 11.4.1

I have to admit that the old interface was horrible, where tapping the camera screen wouldn't adjust focus but take a photo.

Why won't they implement something similar to WhatsApp. Just a few small overlays on the bottom where you can tap on to access your photo library:

I still haven't seen this update. I haven't had notification to say it'll automatically do it overnight.

What is the version of the new beta? I'll compare it to what I've got. It may have snuck in without telling me... which is dodgy...

I finally resolved this by doing a full reset. A pain but at least I can get PB4 now.

OK, so it turns out I already have Beta 4 installed. Didn't get ANY notifications or anything.

Have turned off automatic updates as I prefer to control what comes in.
 
Does anyone have tried to do a restore to 11.4.1 in iTunes? It download the ipsw but when i press restore it allways says that an error ocorrured...
 
Can anyone provide some useful use cases for shortcuts? How are you actually using it?
 
Battery much worse on this one for me... Mostly says "safari" using the power.
 
anyone having extremely slow responses from the App Store, especially with app updates on this release? also notice I am getting unable to connect to store more often and have to restart the App Store app .. think I've seen that as an older bug, but first time I'm experiencing it is on this latest PB..
 
This is essentially a gold master. It runs incredibly fast and I haven’t been able to find any bugs in every day use. Any glitches I saw from the first couple of betas are gone.

All I’m missing is the Shortcuts app. Hopefully that comes to the public beta soon.

We're still a ways away from gold master, but yes it is pretty smooth with most features .... for a beta

I was gonna do this but got nervous that I would have a problem with Authy and Blizzard Authenticator. Don't want to lock myself out of some accounts.

I put my phone into recovery mode and had it 'updated' to 11.4.1 via iTunes. Then I was able to update to iOS 12 PB 4. Didn't have to restore anything, but seemed to have lost my messages, even though I have iCloud messages on, and all my messages show up on other devices. It's like it never pulled from the cloud.
 
I am seeing an issue that has been present at least in Beta 3 and now 4. I use waze, I use the Music App and I use radio apps. What was happening occasionally in Beta 3 was that I would all of a sudden finder the music playing 10-15% faster, the Waze voice would also be upped in pitch and playing faster and then my radio apps would do the same. For radio it would play for around 9 seconds and then be a gap of 1 second as it had played the audio too fast and the stream had to catch up. Now in Beta 3 I found that this could be reset by rebooting the phone and then it would randomly appear. In Beta 4 it appears I cannot get the right speed back. Now all of this appears to be happening when I have the phone connected with Bluetooth.

Checking without Bluetooth all appears to run correct speed.
