Does it fix the ‘there is a problem with Apple Music’ issue when using a stereo pair of Minis as default audio with Apple TV?

I can say it sort of resolves the slowness One moment issue. Smart things like blinds it will say Your device is taking longer to respond. That said I'm also waiting on the Apple TVs to update so jury is sorta still out.

Hope it fixes the "hmm, things are taking a little longer", "hmm still working", "hmm, I'm sorry".
Nope. It really does not. Same issues in this release.
8 HomePods here, still garbage.

Apple’s HomePod dev team really are the black sheep of Apple. Pathetic really.
I’m done being disappointed by their incompetence.

Hopefully it's improved the "hmm, things are taking a little longer" issue even though I've not had that for a while thankfully. Wonder why it's only the homepods that do this the most often though. While the hompod is thinking about turning of the lights with Philips hue, if I give the same command on my watch, iPhone or iPad they carry out the command immediately while the homepod is still thinking about it. Pain in the ass when the issue pops up.
Weird that yours is intermittent. For me that problem has been there consistently since iOS 15 dropped. It has honestly put me off buying any more Apple products if they’re just going to make them worse and leave them like that for literally months.

"Just a sec" Siri on the HomePod fumbles around like she is in a press conference ....
How about the occasional "Who's speaking?" Nothing pisses my wife off more when Siri asks her "Who's speaking?" after a request. My wife has been a registered home user for the last two years!!! And she is the only female in the house! Siri, figure it out!!!

Not me I have 65 lights some philips hue and many HomeKit bulbs the last 5 months have been horrible all around Google has no problems so I’m sure it’s somewhere in HomeKit 4 Apple TV’s 5 HomePods.
Have you taken any steps to try and isolate the issue at all?

If there's a device that's "flooding" the network with requests or updates (which I've seen via my Homebridge console) it can certainly cause issues. You can also try the Eve app which gives you some lower level control over scenes (like you can adjust brightness only without interfering with colours).

Counting up all individual lights and sensors, there are 55 items in my HomeKit configuration. Mixture of Lifx, Nanoleaf, Philips Hue and IKEA bulbs and strips (and one Govee bluetooth strip set that's hooked up via Homebridge on a Pi). Also got 2x Hive thermostats, 3x Nest smoke detectors, 3x HomePods, smart sockets, scene buttons, Logitech camera, and an Apple TV mixed in for good measure.

This is new and stupid...

I have 4 minis and they do not get along. Sometimes I cannot send music to them from my phone or iPad, sometimes, I have ghost music playing when both my iPad and iPhone are not in play mode. They need to up their game in this space. Amazon Alexa speakers work great, they just don't have the audio quality... yet!

This update fixed timers not working on my HomePod. Even a reset didn’t help before 15.3.

I hope this fixes the location services issue my HomePods have. No amount of resets or toggling on location services have been able to fix my Homepods. I can’t even ask what the weather is like without Siri saying “Where?”

Ugh; I’m still getting “weather for where?”. This used to work flawlessly.

Didn’t improve anything for me! My OG HomePods still refuse to play music on request („There is a problem with Apple Music“). Rebooting or resetting didn’t fix it, either…

HomePods are a joke at this point and it’s no wonder that Spotify doesn’t even care to support Airplay 2

Have you upgraded your iOS devices to 15.3 yet? Then go in and toggle location services in the Home app.

We have 4 original HomePods and 3 HomePod Minis. One of the last updates seems to have bricked one of my original models. Of course, I cannot find out which update because it no longer boots up. Since the Apple Stores near me are all closed, I cannot bring it in to have them look at it.

That ignores the fact that Apple really wouldn't care, even if the stores were open. Unless you're fortunate to still be within warranty that is.

Have you totally removed them from your home app too? I had an issue like with a HomePod mini, and it took a full reset and totally removing it from home before it all fell into place. Not had any issues since.

If you reset them, they disappear from the home app until you set them up again.

When it comes to account issues, remove the device from accounts (home, iCloud, etc) first before resetting it. Using the software reset retains account settings / affiliations.
