It appears the iWeb issues is widespread. The update broke the app. Ugh!

Hopefully Apple doesn't take forever to fix this, otherwise I'll pretty much have to stop using iWeb. I can't republish my entire site every time I make a new blog entry.

I found a fix, well, the answer is to download an older eyetv version, this then works.
You can then apply the latest eyetv update as per normal, I guess just reinstalling eyetv fixes it.

I have a unibody Macbook 2.4GHz with EyeTV3 and a Miglia Tuner and I had none of the trouble you mentioned. My TV reception is not perfect on some channels, but it is exactly the same after installing all of the updates.

It's possible something in your configuration was affected, but I don't think it will apply to everyone.

and PS. They seemed to have fixed the QuickLook plugin for certain iWork 09 files that are saved in the old format - hoorah!

No setting, i just got this

Thanks for the tip --- unfortunately I use to get this on the older version of iphoto and now when choosing "custom" music for a slide show it doesn't show the window as you indicated. ---- Gaaawwwww ---- I use iphoto most so I wish Apple would fix these issues.

Still Waiting

I am still waiting for that iWeb update that brings new templates and flash widgets or content! Am i dreaming?

Maybe someone will create a widget editor...if I can use Keynote to make a site page...those effects are better than no effects

You're not going to get flash widgets, at least not until flash is supported on the iPhone. I don't think even after that happens though that you'll get flash widgets. Most of the time they're ugly, and even with Apple designing them, I'm sure they prefer JS/HTML/CSS.

iWeb 3 brought 2 new templates.

I don't think a point update would bring major new templates and features, although the first ever update to iWeb brought comments I recall.

If I was going to wait for something, it'd be templates that don't require being re-uploaded for every blog entry and such. The ability to even post online, or from an iPhone. It would require a major rework, but it'd be better than another bloated template.

After using iMovie for the last couple days putting a video together for my moms birthday, I had a couple crashes mostly when adjusting the length of multiple pictures in a slide show. After the update its running much smoother and it hasn't crashed since.

Did you use the bug reporter or just the feedback page? I've always gotten much better results with the bug reporter (except when they mark a legitimate issue as "works as designed" or some such nonsense ). http://bugreport.apple.com/

I assume the feedback page just has a couple of minimum-wage lackeys reading them and tossing them in the trash...

Ooh... Didn't know that one, cheers!

Still kinda disappointed that there was no major update to iWeb. :(

aside from the fact that it's now a useless app that crashes at startup or at publish. I've yet to successfully publish my site since the last update. Any suggestions? The kids at AppleCare didn't really help last time, but were nice at least. LOL

iWeb 09 update really, really good for me.

Previously, before I installed the update, iWeb 09 wasn't allowing me and other MacRumors users to successfully use a FTP Windows server with an iWeb site (some users were saying that only Linux Hosting Plans were working), now it works almost fluidly. This, is hugely important to me as re-uploading every file in a site every time I make a change was quite bothersome. Now, I could build, update and publish directly through iWeb.

:D Congrats, Apple for the update, but in a way these are bugs that should of already been resolved in the day 1 install.
