I wanted to add to my issues that this has nothing to do with Adobe flash or any other third party software (to my knowledge). I was having tons of issues with my iMac freezing, but yet, still working in the background ever since I updated to Lion. So, I did a clean install of Lion with their handy little recovery tool thingamabobber and the minute I booted into the clean install it froze. I rebooted, it worked, so I installed the 10.7.1 update. It restarted. Worked for 5 minutes then froze. I have since turned the machine off and will wait a little longer for them to release an update for everyone. I might have to switch back to SL for the time being.
