Apple Releases iOS 11.0.1 Update With Fix for Exchange Email Bug [Updated]

Anybody else having trouble with iOS 11 and Honda and Acura Bluetooth systems?



I'm growing a little concerned after running through a few cars and finding several problems.



  • Low playback volume with stored audio
    Low volume on Bluetooth calls making the call impossible
    Contact names will not populate over numbers
    Voice commands from Bluetooth HandsFreeLink no longer work






10.3.3 works fine but iOS 11 does not.



Multiple tests, multiple cars in a range from 2014 - 2018.
 
battery life still is bad so this update didn't fix it but will give it a couple of days and see what happens . Iphone 7 :)
 
I'd say this update is an improvement for what concerns battery life and performance on my 6s.
I'm looking forward to the update that restore 3d touch for app switcher

oh. My issue with wifi is a different thing. Mine slows to a crawl at times. I've come across some others with the same issue, but yes, don't think it is widespread.
 
Okay. That was strange.

Just tried to update three times. The first two, it downloaded, verified, and went though the whole thing, but the version didn't change (it still showed 11.0.1 as an available update to download).

I restarted the phone, did it again, and got the restore prompt.

Gonna plug it in and use iTunes now. I can't remember this happening before, ever.

EDIT: iTunes let me try updating the phone first, so hopefully, that will work. I'm not certain when my last backup to iCloud was.

EDIT: Running the update from iTunes got everything working fine again. Strange.

Yes. On one of my devices Keychain was switched off. But it still doesn't work after I switched it back on.

Yeah, the same here. Tried the usual off/on but with no success.

I have an iPhone 6 Plus. I upgraded and wish I hadn't. My iPhone keeps switching to inverted colors. I have to turn on the invert option to turn it off and then when I rotate the screen it goes to half inverted and half not. I have to reboot to make it all one again. This is the worst upgrade in IOS I have ever experienced.

Well, there's a company called, Xiaomi. They have 2 available ROMs you can actually choose from, the STABLE ROM, one that gives you updates regularly, and there's the GLOBAL ROM, it gives you an update every Friday, weekly. They had been doing it since 2014, I guess.
 
Le sigh... here are some things I noticed this update didn't fix on my iPhone 6s Plus:

  • There's a 2-3 second delay when tapping on Siri & Search, more delays when going to each app and turning it off and going back to app list
  • Music app doesn't show which bluetooth it's connected on Airplay icon, need to switch to iPhone and back to show the name of device
  • Play or Shuffle are not highlighted in Music app
