I asked this question earlier but never got a response..I have the iPad Pro 10.5 inch, I ONLY do clean restores when putting in new firmware, the last two firmware upgrades whenever its done installing the volume control buttons on the side of the iPad do not work..but when I turn off the iPad completely and turn it back on the volume works perfectly like nothing happened..is this just a glitch in the IOS firmware that causes this to happen its a weird one
It could possibly be a hardware issue. Anything has the possibility of have manufacturing defects. If the problem persists I'd take it to Apple.

Yeah it ONLY Happens when I put in the new firmware, once I rebooted the iPad it never happened again..it only happens when I do a full system restore to put in the new firmware

Odd. Well I guess if it only happens once it’s probably just a glitch. I wouldn’t worry about it unless it’s a persistent issue.

Yeah I looked it up online apparently its something that can happen in IOS 11 some people have it happen while others dont. Kind of like my TV, ever since I put in the newest firmware it would not connect to wifi, so I contacted Samsung, they told me to unplug the TV and plug it back in, as soon as I did it no more wifi problem..guess its some kind of glitch thing that happens when you install a new firmware

Apple today released iOS 11.0.3, the third official update to the new iOS 11 operating system. iOS 11.0.3 comes a little over one week after Apple released iOS 11.0.2, an update that fixed an issue causing crackling sounds to come from the iPhone 8 earpiece, and almost one month after the official release of iOS 11.

The iOS 11.0.3 update can be downloaded for free on all eligible devices over-the-air in the Settings app. To access the update, go to Settings --> General --> Software Update.

Today's update addresses bugs and issues that have been discovered since the release of iOS 11.0.2. According to Apple's release notes, the update fixes issues related to haptic feedback and the touchscreen. The iOS 11 update introduces a redesigned Lock screen experience, a customizable Control Center, a more natural Siri voice, a redesigned App Store, new HEVC and HEIF codecs for better photo and video efficiency, and an entirely overhauled interface for the iPad. [doublepost=1508099628][/doublepost]Third update so far - several proper upgrades needed!?!! iOS 11 is a basket case and I don't advise upgrading for anyone- Yet again Apple drops the ball!!! Get it together Apple!
[doublepost=1508099845][/doublepost]Is iOS 11 supposed to inspire confidence in iPhone X - well that phone is now off the cards totally-If you can't get iOS right don't bother with new hardware

Most people aren't really having issues that are of much consequence to them.

For what it is worth, my iPhone 6s battery life returned to normal with the 11.0.3 update.
My 6s+ got better too. My iPad Air 2, that has a replacement screen, seems to have developed a problem with the touch screen where touch location is displaced relative to displaced information. I didn’t have this problem until 11.0.3. I also have a problem with my interface to my Acura MDX where my iPhone phonebook doesn’t completely transfer. Oh, my iPad Air 2 has also developed a battery drain problem now.
[doublepost=1508261141][/doublepost]Apple would be better off delaying 11.1 until they get well beyond creating more bugs as they resolve with each bug “fix”.

I wish they'd remove the huge hideous app headlines (i.e. "Messages" in Messages and "All Inboxes" in Mail), as well as revert the control center Wifi toggle back to how it used to function

160% Agree!!! These are the exact things I WANT them to remove!

I own a 6 plus so I don’t think the update did anything for me. And maybe I’m missing something but I though pulling down notifications when in reachabilty would be fixed and it’s still the same?

I was having problems restoring new iPhoneX from iPhone6S+ backup in iTunes.
THEN came this last update - so installed onto both devices
THEN deleted all old backups in iTunes for 6S+
THEN did a new backup of 6S+ in iTunes
THEN was able to restore new iPhoneX from old 6S+ - YESsssss - that's what the update was for!

Bugs persist. My 6S touch screen remains randomly unresponsive, or has delayed response. Crappy. Is Mac becoming Windows?
Perhaps there's something with your screen/device?

And how's Mac or Windows related to this, given that this is iOS?
