I’m not sure what you mean by hacked. The DosDude1 patches patch the Mac OS installers to get the OSes to install on officially unsupported machines. SIP gets disabled in order to install OS versions that aren’t officially supported; that probably leaves the system less secure than it would be otherwise.

Unless you mean there’s malware involved. I don’t know anything about that. Please let me know if that’s the case, as I haven’t been looking into this topic for a couple years. I haven’t found any malware, but my MacBook Pro 5,5 has started behaving oddly in the last month or so (rebooting on its own), but I assumed it was the battery or other hardware failing.
