Apple Releases iOS 14.2 and iPadOS 14.2 With New Emoji, Control Center Music Recognition, Intercom, Wallpapers and More

I thought the Clock widget was bad in 14 (wrong time displayed) but now the clock has stopped completely!

I had it working for a time with the last 14.1.x update, but with 14.2 it died again.
Its one thing when a 3rd party app widget may not work as anticipated, but when Apple manages to bugger their own apps, that takes a certain indifference.

Yanked off the homescreen again. Sigh

Anybody else see iPadOS 14.2 kill their Wifi toggle? Everything was fine on my iPad Air 2 before the update. Once I updated wifi won’t turn on. Did hard reset, reset network settings, resorted to factory defaults and did a clean install. Nothing worked. Chatted with Apple Support and they said I should send it in for repair but I don’t think this is hardware. How does a software update on an iPad sitting on a table knock out hardware?

Anybody else having this trouble?

I’ve restarted mine multiple times but nothing so far but I’m glad you had success. Maybe I’ll try it a few more times.

Apple is still signing 14.1 so you could always try to downgrade to see if it fixes it...

They made it on purpose to hide the fact that the first line says "over 100 new emoji". It is so embarrassing that they had to make it small enough so most people won't notice.
