If enough people did it instead of being sheep they’d get the hint that some of us are sick of basic stuff not working with their yearly release of bug ridden software. Can’t wait for the apple car!
How are you going to avoid using iOS16 with a new phone exactly? According to you then, buying the new iPhone makes you a sheep - irrespective of your circumstances🤡

now this is better!! ui lag is gone on 14pro... everything feels nice and slippery!

On my 14 Pro Dynamic Island is still lagging the first time it’s engaged (for example playing a song for the first time and then swiping to home screen)…

Screen flickering issue on iPhone 13 not resolved. It is very frustrating. Especially noticeable in low brightness and dark background, but is apparent.

Catalina’s Finder still doesn’t see iOS 16.0.3 (10:45 pm PST) …I’ll wait as I don’t want a delta update this ear;y in the 16 cycle 😱

Battery drain has been dreadful on my new iPhone 14 Pro Max. I can’t make it through the day without having to charge.

I’ve updated and have found that my iPhone 14 Pro is still draining battery at an unbelievable rate. The same thing happened to my iPhone 12 when I updated to iOS 16. Several friends with recent model iPhones are experiencing the same excessive battery drain, seeing their phone run out of power in half the time (or less) than under iOS 15.

I’m wondering if anyone has found any other solution to this battery drain issue. I’ve tried all the usual approaches that apply to keeping battery drain under control normally.

I normally do updates via Finder but decided to do a OTA on this ione as it was not showing up, worked great and installed really fast on my 14 Pro. I'll install 16.1 via Finder though. I wanted to make sure OTA updates worked anyway at some point and it worked fine, no bug issues at all in fact I was surprised how quickly it installed.

iOS 16 is still a mess, even after this update:

- Haptic keyboard feedback not working after the update, had to restart
- I’m constantly seeing white loading screens when launching apps with dark mode enabled
- App switcher shows weird “white lines” at top and bottom when displaying third party apps

…just to name a few…all bugs on iPhone 14 Pro

Haptic feedback works fine for me, but I turned it off again on the keyboard and will keep it off especially after Apple said it could drain your battery, I did like it on but not missing it at all now. Battery drain vanished after turning off the weather widget on lockscreen, I don't use AOD on my iPhone 14 Pro as its in a pouch when its not being used so I never did see the need for it for my own personal usage.

I appreciate your advice, but this is not how it’s supposed to be: AOD is one of THE features for the new Pro models. Lockscreen widgets and haptic feedback are nice quality of life improvements that all users benefit from - why are they implementing stuff that affects and deteriorates your overall experience in the first place?! I just don’t get it..
