This update provides bug fixes and important security updates for your iPhone including the following:

  • Incoming call and app notifications may be delayed or not delivered on iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max
  • Low microphone volume can occur during CarPlay phone calls on iPhone 14 models
  • Camera may be slow to launch or switch between modes on iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max
  • Mail crashes on launch after receiving a malformed email
---------
So, why all of the above has not been tested before launch??? I don't think there is an excuse.

Downloading 16.0.3 and Watch OS 9.2 right now. Have a 14 pro max and noticed my battery does drain a bit fast (even on my home WiFi). Battery Health still says 100% though and I haven't had many issues with the phone since I got it on launch day.

Only issues I had on my 14 pro max was the slight battery drain, and some weird glitch with Siri and my gen 3 Airpods. If a song is paused and I ask Siri to resume the song, Siri just says " one moment" and won't ever resume the song. The song will pay for like a millisecond and pause on its own again. Siri will pause and resume songs playing through the phone speakers fine, however.

Sooo gps doesn’t work in the car when you need it….phone calls don’t work when you get them…. Apple is failing on the basics here…
GPS works fine in car and away from it. Phone calls work fine in car and away from it.

im updating using itunes/finder in my mac. i want to do full ios install. Its not appearing yet.
yup same, kinda useless for apple to prioritize OTA updates which is a whopping 1.21 GB
I used the IPSW links from iOSHacker and yes I can verify they are safe because the links point to Apple's CDN servers

Just look at this forum and the number of people who immediately upgrade on the yearly basis. 😆 It will take a lot of shooting themselves in the foot for Apple to actually be literally slipping. Their brand power is so strong that people are willing to even pay more despite the inconsistent qualities.

That isn't just exclusive to Apple fans, that's true for any brand and fandom.

16.0.3 fixed the battery drain and lag on my 14 Pro, finally. 16.0.2 was a hot pile of crap. Everything lags, and nothing stays in memory, webpages and apps refresh in no time.
Had the same issues with my 11 Pro. Let’s hope they’re fixed for me, too
