Strange. That seems to be fixed for me.Still not showing keyboard automatically when calling spotlight. Very welcome security fixes as always

Winter is coming. It’s a feature, not a bug.Yup. Mine 15PM also very hot while updating… annoying…
Which bug? I have an annoying bluetooth apple music bug that causes skipping when im in my car unless i re-add my phone. Supremely obnoxious. The apple music bug is still there. That's disappointing.
Play Counts and Last Played hasn't been updated since the 17.1 update.Which bug? What’s the problem it causes?
What does that have to do with this thread. They were supposed to be bad. They are rebuilding. Not as disappointing as the San Jose Sharks season this year.![]()

Unless you have a DEC PDP-11 with the UNIX Time-Sharing System (e.g. like the one used by Sun Oil Trading Co. and Sun International Ltd.).actally it is linux when you jailbreak it you can see a linux filesytem same for android and macos so everything (but windows) is linux
Well, thanks a lot for the update, Apple. Now I can’t even use my phone. It’s completely useless. I get the Apple logo, but once I get to the Home Screen to unlock it, it is completely unresponsive.
Apple today released iOS 17.1.2 and iPadOS 17.1.2, small updates to the iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 operating systems that Apple introduced in September. iOS 17.1.2 and iPadOS 17.1.2 come a few weeks after the release of iOS 17.1.1, another bug fix update.

If I were you I wouldn’t download this POSWell, thanks a lot for the update, Apple. Now I can’t even use my phone. It’s completely useless. I get the Apple logo, but once I get to the Home Screen to unlock it, it is completely unresponsive.
Brand new iPhone 15 pro max and I am writing this post on my old iPhone X.
Wtf?
I am beyond pissed off.
Same thing happened to me too (iPhone 15 Pro). When I connected the phone to my Mac, it reported that it was in DFU mode and needed to be restored. That's what I did and it's now recovering the previous iCloud backup.Well, thanks a lot for the update, Apple. Now I can’t even use my phone. It’s completely useless. Do I have to skip work tomorrow and take it somewhere? This is stupid.
And no, a hard reset did not work.
Wtf?
I am beyond pissed off.
That's somewhat right. That’s wrong macOS, iPadOS , iOS etc are NOT Linux based they are Unix based systems what you see is the Unix file system (unix has been around since the 1950/60)
That sounds like my Google Pixel 6a, which I found to be updated to Android 14, without my authorization. It then told me that my data was corrupt and the only way to fix the problem was to do a factory data reset.Same thing happened to me too (iPhone 15 Pro). When I connected the phone to my Mac, it reported that it was in DFU mode and needed to be restored. That's what I did and it's now recovering the previous iCloud backup.
"I want to be vulnerable for a year or more!"I’ll never understand people who complain about updates. Apple even includes an option to install overnight so you are not even inconvenienced with the install.

Right you are Jon Snow : Winter is coming !Winter is coming. It’s a feature, not a bug.
Some heat is good these days.
Very interesting post, do you have any more info related to this bug or if it has been fixed.Wonder if this fixes the SSO issue they introduced with 17.1.1 for Entra ID scenarios in web browsers?
I am guessing not. There's still heaps of "fresh" devices that can't update to iOS 17.Is this the end of the iOS 16 update track? I’m seeing the iOS 17 update in full view now, including the wonderful Settings badge…
