I’m waiting until at least a .1 update. I look forward to everyone else installing this version and reporting their experience. 18.7 is available for anyone else who wants to wait.

See my pic above, same for 16 Pro and iPad Pro M1, the beta option doesn’t allow you to select yes/no, just no I checked and no ability to change.

No update showing from the RC 340 version for either.
yea, it resolved itself at least on my phone, turned beta to off now and downloading the official release, the A341 version

Strangely, I had to upgrade to 18.7 before my MBA M4 showed MacOS26 as available... how weird.

However, upgrades for iPhone and iPad eventually showed up, but both have gone from a few minutes to several hours so this looks rather more popular than most previous "September" updates.

The transparency is bad enough ... but at least we can tame that with "reduce transparency"

The overly animated ... well everything ... is just horrible!

Why does everything need to bounce and flash so much? Every time I tap the url bar in safari, or send an iMessage, or look at my notifications center? Really?

And yes, I know I can use reduce "Reduce Motion" but that goes too far in the other direction.

iOS 26 is a visual $h1t$how
