um... after iOS update to 4.3.5 on my iPhone 4, my location services can no longer find exactly where I am. it says I'm 2 towns away. I've tried changing apps, and even using the maps app. is this happening to anybody else?

Even Microsoft doesn't push this many "security fixes". Did Apple fanboys always laugh at MSFT for stuff like this?

damn, wish all these point releases were coming in OTA instead... can't wait for iOS 5!!!

came up as 666.6 mb download... careful! 666!
As did the previous update if I remember it correctly.

and yet verizon is still stuck on 4.2.7, wtf
Verizon is not stuck on 4.2.7, it is already at 4.2.9. If history is any guide there will be a 4.2.10 update today as well.

7 February/9 March: 4.2.5 = 4.3 (CDMA, personal hotspot)
10 February/25 March: 4.2.6 = 4.3.1 (separate hardware specific bug fixes)
14 April: 4.2.7 = 4.3.2 (bug/security fixes)
4 May: 4.2.8 = 4.3.3 (location database fix)
15 July: 4.2.9 = 4.3.4 (pdf fix)
25 July: 4.2.10 = 4.3.5 (certificate fix)

Now that I've delta updated to iOS 5 beta 4 over the air, these minor updates that require a huge download and an hour long restore process are completely laughable.

Aren't they though? Oh well, it's coming and that's all that matters.

I wonder if they're going to push out an OTA update for iOS 5? I would assume these security issues exist in the beta as well.

"Pointless"? Are you kidding? Do you even know what certificate validation means?

who cares, its not like i have anything of value on it. its just a phone, my porn is stored elsewhere and i doubt anyone around me is smart enough to use that breach. if we were to get new features on the other hand .... guess i'll stick to 4.3.3 i need my SB Settings

29 minute download for me at 4 Mb/s.

All updates are welcome here. iOS, MacOS. How can someone be against them. You can do other things while they are downloading, either on your Mac or off your Mac.
