Apple has released iOS 6.1.1 for iPhone 4S devices, presumably fixing the 3G issues that carriers warned their customers about with the iOS 6.1 update. The update, which is specific to the iPhone 4S, comes with a build number of 10B145. It weighs in at a relatively paltry 23MB.

A beta of iOS 6.1.1 was released in the middle of last week carrying a build number of 10B311 -- it's likely the upgrade released today was an urgent bug fix and the prior iOS 6.1.1 beta sent to developers will become iOS 6.1.2.

Sweet! Christmas came early. Downloading now. I'm pretty sure this update makes all screens 5" and full of retinas.

lol i read "seeding 6.1.1" on twitter and literally ran to the mac to finally save my iPhone/iPad blobs before its too late:D

According to Engadget, this appears to be only for iPhone 4S users. Anyone with a 4, 3GS or 5 able to confirm seeing the update?

BL.

I know everyone has asked 860 billion times now but... does it patch the jailbreak exploit(s)?

Even if it doesn't, you can't jailbreak your phone again because the evasi0n jailbreak doesn't work with 6.1.1... yet. So why bother?

Downloaded for my iPhone 4S... not available for my iPad 3 (Software is up to date)
