UAE Etisalat still doesn't work.
I am now able to turn on LTE in menu, but it doesn't switch.

I checked etisalats 4g coverage area and I am within it.

Anyone else can check and verify?

Who buys a 16 GB phone? Rule of thumb, always buy the middle version of anything (not the smallest, nor the largest). That way you don't pay the most, nor pay the least. Pay the middle. All's good.

Popcorn at movie -- medium please. No I don't want to pay another $.25 for the large.

I believe the majority of iPhone and iPad sales are the least and the most expensive configurations. I guess buyers are either looking for value or features. But, whatever makes you happy.

And, on another topic, I wonder if the least expensive configurations retain a higher relative resale value?

iTunes Match Playcount

Does anybody know if iTunes Match is now updating play count and last played? It hasn't done this for a while now and I actually use play counts quite a bit for playlists so its kinda sucked.

You are completely ****ing wrong. You are waiting on a jailbreak because they haven't found a security hole that can be exploited to allow the jailbreak. What you are saying is that iOS is dead because there are less and less security vulnerabilities for it

Hopefully there's more to this update than Apple lists (i.e. bug fixes). My dad's iPhone 5 keeps downloading duplicates of songs every time I try to download something from iCloud for him. It works fine to sync from a computer, but it is a bit irritating. :/

I am getting the same thing and my Internet is working just fine. On iPod touch 5g btw. Haven't tried updating thru iTunes yet though...

It's possible you don't have the right model to support Etisalat's band. There are three different models. Check here: http://www.apple.com/iphone/LTE/

According to that website, you should have the A1429 model.

Even if everyone on this forum IS waiting for a jailbreak, does not mean all ios users are. In fact a great majority of ios users love ios as it is, because of its simplicity and great integration into the apple ecosystem.

Streamed 1080p movies now show in Video app

A nice bug fix is that 1080p movies are no longer missing from the streamed area of the Video app. Prior to this only <1080p movies, or 1080p movies re-tagged as less than 1080p, or only synched 1080p movies would show up in the Video app. Now they all do... and play too.

Hey, it's that same model I specifically ordered via a friend in the UK having done the research on the frequencies ahead of time.

Im wondering if anyone is finding same issue, and if anyone on du has tried.

Who needs more stuff when they need to work on fine tuning the OS and squashing bugs. (like they did with the bluetooth delay in this current patch).
