Does anyone remember the time when iOS updates actually meant something? There was a time not long ago when they actually launched innovative features...
Jelly Bean is still only 9% of Android users. Yeah, they're setting the world on fire alright.

Did you test whether it was a microphone and/or loudspeaker issue (eg, by recording voice notes)? Does it also happen when using Skype (or other VoIP solutions)?Using the iPhone 5 w/o a headset gives terrible audio. Plugging in a headset fixes the issue and the audio (my transmitted audio) becomes awesome.
Definitely an issue with the phone, now that I've updated I need to test it out. As previously noted, I took the phone back to the Apple store and they did not replace it.
Meanwhile in Mountain View they are actually adding a plethora of new features and nice updates to a minor release.
This could just as easily have been a 6.0.2 update.

WOW. This is the first time a .1 software update has been a complete fail. IOS 4.1, 5.1 brought some insanity to IOS. This is a joke.

For some strange strange reason they disabled it in iOS 6.I'm confused, I thought you always could download an individual song that was in iCloud? I thought that was the whole point of it?
Well, then set up that hotspot and download the update in iTunes.

You have absolutely no interest in receiving the 50-odd bug fixes, a couple of which will actually improve your experience?
I've have it installed since yesterday and overall performance, speed and WiFi is dramatically improved. I used to barely get 1 bar and in and out in my room, now I get a solid 2 bars of WiFi.
For some strange strange reason they disabled it in iOS 6.
It makes ZERO sense and they finally realised that so they enabled it again.

DO NOT update to 6.1 via Software Update on the iPhone/iPad/iPod touch. It messes up the jailbreak. See https://forums.macrumors.com/posts/16741166/ and the rest of the discussion.
If you've already updated via Software Update, you will have to Restore 6.1 via iTunes to perform a clean jailbreak.
Always update via iTunes if you plan on jailbreaking.

So if you were using iCloud for your music, what would the songs do, stream only? (I have all my songs downloaded so I'm in the dark about this)
How much battery life loss are we talking about? I personally want it for functionality.
