Apple Releases iOS 7.0.3, Adds Support for iCloud Keychain, Accelerometer Issues

Apple today released iOS 7.0.3 for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, a bug fix update with a build number of 11B511 for all devices. iOS 7.0.3 is available as an over-the-air update.

The update adds support for the iCloud Keychain service that was added in OS X Mavericks, as well a numerous bug fixes, including a calibration issue with the iPhone 5s accelerometer.

iOS 7.0.2 was released late last month with a build of 11B501.

I think I will finally jump the gun now - the Mavericks good news gave me the impetus to move to iTunes 11 and iOS 7, like it or not... :D

I haven't noticed the iMessage bug in a few weeks :confused:... Not sure if it was their servers or not but to me at least it looks like it was fixed awhile back now.

Either way, I'm glad they finally released 7.0.3 to resolve many other issues!
 
Will this update enable the feature that allows me to drop my iPhone 5 without breaking (as demonstrated in the iPad Air video)?
 
Will this finally get me to upgrade from 6? probably not, unless someone tells me it makes safari snappier
 
They changed the animation! Instead of it zooming in & out it just fades in & out now :eek:

I'm super curious to see what this means, exactly.

It's clearly designed for all the motion-sick complainers, but what did they do? If everything just cuts from screen to screen, great for those folks, but I'll stick to the zooms.

But if it speeds up the animations then I'll WANT to use it but will be sad to have to give up paralax to get it.

Anyone know yet what it does?

And I'm betting this is our answer. Did you have paralax turned off before?

if so then this is not a feature I'll be using but I hope it helps the folks who needed it.
 
iMessage bug is getting on my nerves, plus i've gotten serious battery drain the past week or so. i thought it must have been a rogue app somewhere..
Hoping this is soon available on the UK store for my ip5..

For the first time ever, so am I.

I NEED to change the look of iOS, while keeping the functionality. And I'm clearing my phone of anything precious, since the security advantage will be gone. But that'll be a small price to pay...If only Apple would let me revert back to iOS 6, I'd be able to avoid this!

A new jailbroken iPad or mini would be AWESOME, though. Apple's hardware is still (relatively) above reproach. The new iPads are reeally impressive, pricing and iOS 7 aside.

I can't believe I NEED to jailbreak, after all these years.:mad:

The carrier sets the limit of the size of update that is allowed over their data connection. This limit is set in the carrier file.
