Almost ironic, I installed the update, started up the phone, opened music app and it crashed, and it did it again and again. Genius mixes are still not working on my devices(UK). Also I am not keen on the new male Siri voice, i liked prefer the old one.

Woah, if it's that unstable, I suspect your setup may be corrupted. This thing went through a few months of testing by developers and Apple. I tried beta 3 and even then, it was already better than 7.0.x GM.

Could someone do me a favour and check under Settings > Touch ID & Passcode and tell me if the "Voice Dial" switch button is still there anymore in 7.1?

Thanks

Siri is a joke now. I switched to the female voice as it's the lesser of two evils. Seems apple has no one with taste and balls to say no anymore

So this was better in iOS 7.0.x?

That iphone 5s features web page crashing was just brought to my attention a few days ago. I wasn't able to get it to crash the few times I tried it previous to 7.1. It crashes now, it may take a little longer to do so each time I tried it but it does crash.

Is it a deal breaker? Well coupled with page reloads I'm experiencing and since I use my Air for web browsing more than anything it is very important to me, so probably. I have a week to decide.

I'll use my 5s and 1st gen Mini for IOS, I will not even update either at this point.

Ok, how's the music player. Has it changed?
When playing music, is the seek bar in the lock screen more responsive?

TouchID improvements? I've yet to get TouchID to work at all in any reliable fashion.

Only improvement I'd love for iOS is getting real podcast support through the audio player back, so you don't have to use that terrible "Podcasts" app.

Take your phone back to the store. Touch ID was one of the first noticeable improvement in 7.1 betas. The GM is even quicker.

I will try it for a few more days, but it only takes 1 very quick read this entire morning. The only time it asked for a rescan was when it told me the sensor's dirty.

Is there any way to change back to full screen caller photos? Without jailbreak? Any apps or something? I can't believe they went with this new design..:/ They touted its attractiveness and usefulness on WWDC, and now seemingly without any reason they change to this ugly small circled picture. Seriously, how is this more useful or more aesthetically pleasing than it was in iOS 7?

Its ridiculous. The worst thing apple has made. Send Feedbacks to Apple, thats the only way they could consider it.

What has happened to Siri's voice? I use the Aussie female office and it's now sounding very robotic. :(

They didn't update the green in Numbers...having it next to the FaceTime icon makes the contrast VERY annoying. Also the new shift button color scheme is idiotic, it's not intuitive at all.

All my purchased in the cloud iTunes bought music is not showing in the music app. Only downloaded. So I have to go to the store more purchased to see it.

Does anyone at apple use these devices?

Are they all using android or something?

I can understand, but in iOS 7 there was a way to add pictures to be full screen, or be in the little circle. Why can't they make it optional? I realise that you can't please everyone, but it'd seem logical to add some optional switches. After it being praised on WWDC, I would expect them to either stick with it, or at least make it optional to have a full screen photo, not just completely get rid of it.

I must have missed that option. Where was it an option? I am not doubting you, just curious where it was.

I think the update re-enables emergency alerts, if they were previously off. Updated my phone a bit ago, then just now the thing went off with the most god-awful, loudest alarm ever. It made me jump out of my chair! It was an AMBER alert. I don't remember ever hearing anything like that before.

No still can't add a song to a play list. Epic fail.

Seek bar lock screen seems good.

Why isn't someone shouting their heads off at apple hq?

This is the trouble when everyone gets along.

Is your Settings > Show All Music off ?

If it's off, then only downloaded music will be shown. Happened to me too.
