Exciting! Now just need to wait for it to be available via iTunes...I'd rather do a clean install.

That's what I like to see!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

is it better to install it OTA or to do a fresh install with backup or to do a fresh install with configured as "new phone"? :)

Mia

Still no support for travel time in the schedule app. Apple, I travel with my iPads and iPhone, not my Mavericks desktop. Get a clue!

Oh my goodness,I've waited for 7.1 for a LOOOOONG time since I got my iPad mini(1st gen) on iOS 6.1.3 .

I refreshed that iOS 7.1 thread for like a million times, and it's finally here!!
:)

Cannot express my mind with words now.
Downloading iOS 7.1 now!
Say goodbye to iOS 6.1.3,hello iOS 7!

I really hope they are prepping some nice feature additions in IOS 8. Using iOS 7 since release it has already gotten Stale.

It is always best to install it as a new iPhone but I only do that for the biggest updates, I usually just update OTA. Restoring from backup is the worst option IMO.

That new Siri function with holding down the home button is interesting. I like how it actually says "Improved performance for iPhone 4". Can anyone confirm?

The Siri hold-button has been there since at least BETA 5. I honestly had no idea about it until it got posted in those release notes. But I just tested on BETA 5 and it works. Which is great, because Siri sitting there doing nothing did annoy me a little.

The amount of space it needs is stupid ! It is a 1.2GB download but says I need 4.5GB free space on my phone ! At this rate I won't have anything on the phone..

It's interesting how Apple makes it a kind of a big deal to call out some things like the "new" month event view in Calendar--which is basically bringing back something they took away or essentially lost from iOS 6 and before. A bit silly in some way making a bigger deal about this being a new/big feature in a new update.

Does anyone know if this fixes the issue where "other" would erroneously take over all of your storage space?

Updating now on my 5s (currently running beta 5) - pretty cool, this is the first time ever that we've been able to update from a beta to the public release OTA. Wonder what, if anything, has changed from beta 5.

iPhone just finished installing, now rebooting for the last time. iPad has rebooted and the progress bar is 20% full. Interesting, both updates started preping and installing at the same time.
