Well, looks like there is a pretty big issue related to "adding all songs in a playlist to a user's library". I created playlists on my iPad, and it added all these songs to my library on my iPad. But it didn't add them to the library on my iPhone. So I can see the playlists there. But I can only see the songs in the playlists that were already in my library. All other songs don't appear in the playlist when I view it on my iPhone, because they were not added to my iPhone library. So one playlist with 50 songs that I created on the iPad is completely empty on the iPhone.

Well, that kinda sucks.

somebody fire eddy cue.... please.... mobile me, itunes match, photos, and now this.... i would even have the skeuromorphic design back if it would make this crap work!

One question: for single membership, how many devices does it support?

Currently I share iTunes Match with my girlfriend as we use the same iTunes account. Is it the same with Apple Music?

It supports up to 10 devices (5 PCs/Macs and 5 mobile devices) but Apple says that you can only use one stream at a time so it behaves the same as Spotify.

Definitely problems with 8.4 - after syncing a collection of songs/fill free space, unable to access any of my music.

Songs went to 0, but the files apparently remain on the iPod as "other."

Having to reset.

Where's your QA/AC, Apple?

Does Apple Music have an offline mode where only songs downloaded to your device are playable? Spotify has this. Also the indicator that a song is available offline is really tiny and kind of hard to see. I'd like to see Apple make that more visible. In fact a lot of the UI elements are quite tiny. Perhaps the persistent bar at the bottom with for you, new, radio etc. could be pop up menu so the now playing controls could be a big bigger. I'm not exactly sure how they'd do it but a lot of things just seem incredibly cramped.

For the record.....I did a one year subscription to Beats for $100 on 10/6/2014. I tried contacting beats on a few occasions trying to find out how switching to Apple Music would affect my one year subscription. Today I finally got an answer. When you switch over you get a pro-rated refund on the unused portion of your term regardless of how long that is. It is placed in you iTunes acct and your three month trial begins at that point. In my case that's about $25.

And then our iCloud stuff would be borked.
I did it and everything worked fine surprisingly. I signed in to my account but turned off all iCloud features except Find My iPad so it wouldn't screw up the iOS 9 iCloud settings. And I made a backup for when they give Music to developers in beta 3.

Damn I love Apple Music so far. I was mostly indifferent to Beats 1 for the most part, but I am genuinely blown away at the quality so far. As far as the UI itself goes for the app, it's a bit buggy, but overall pretty easy to use. I'm mostly sold on it only five hours in, but I'm waiting to see what other improvements they make over the next three months so I can drop Spotify for good. (Which will be a sad day, considering I've been a subscriber for four years!)

You're better off than me. I add songs to an existing playlist on iPad, and they don't appear on the iPad or iPhone. But, they do show up added in my 12.1.2 iTunes playlist (although shaded and not playable). Hmmm.

It's not an issue for 99.999% of the users, because 99.999% of the users don't expect the iTunes update to be available within 60 seconds of the iOS update.

I guess Apple didn't realize that it's a business critical make-or-break issue of life and death for the remaining 0.001% of the users whether the iTunes update is available at 8am or 2pm PST.

Really, how was Apple supposed to know that it was so critical for some people? I heard there is some burning of Apple flags going on in some Scandinavian countries already... what's next? All out thermo-nuclear warfare?

Yeah how was Apple supposed to know there are people that actually want to use Apple Music on their iPhone and Mac. I don't know if you own speakers at home, but I don't like the quality of the iPhone speakers to listen to music behind my desk.

Yes, I can sympathize with people wanting to listen to music through their speakers. I'm one of them. I just can't sympathize with people who think the update must be here immediately now without delay and on their schedule. Apple said June 30. They did not indicate any actual time. And now iTunes 12.2 is out. What did people lose by having to "wait" a few hours?
