Apple Releases iOS 8 Beta 2 to Developers

ARgghh, no! Just no! I don't like the podcasts app unless I absolutely need it as a last resort. I hate that it hi-jacks RSS links and doesn't seem to have an off-switch for that particular "Feature" - if anyone knows how to disable that, please shout.

Yeah I noticed that. Started downloading it as soon as I saw someone post about it on dev forums, and 1.9gb said it would take 2 minutes. I don't think I've ever seen it that fast - go apple!

Swipe up from the space bar to the grey bar. Don't swipe from the bottom of the screen, or you'll get control centre. Just from the space bar.

Try a more swift swipe from space bar to top of the text box. Just noticed it's now a little fussy about showing sometimes so may take a few attempts.
I don't mind that it's a little fussier about showing, because I'm always accidentally hiding/unhiding it as I type

Could you please tell me if you get prompt asking for your iCloud password every few seconds?

I had this issue in beta 1, it was very annoying, because apart from that beta 1 was amazing!

I want mouse capability. Making editing office documents so much easier and oh, FPS gaming so much easier. I hate using controllers,this is why I will never buy game consoles.

Just a matter of time before a BLE mouse iOS extension comes out to cover screen touches.

Happens to me every time I reboot the phone(iPhone 5) It pop ups once and that's it until next reboot.

I remember it was happening every other minute whilst I was on Beta1 but then it stopped for some reason.

I keep getting the error Software Update Failed an error occurred downloading iOS 8.0 beta 2, this is really getting annoying, I have tried everything to my knowledge to make it work and nothing has helped so far. does anybody here have a clue how to fix this?

how does apple know how a udid is registered to a certain seller???

'cuz that's what the registration process does: tells Apple that a certain UDID is now associated with the seller's Developer ID.

I'm wondering if the second gen AppleTV didn't get included for the same reason that the iPhone 4 didn't. Not like the second gen AppleTV runs the current OS anywhere near as sluggishly as the iPhone 4 does. Perhaps they're just cleaning out A4 support? Does make me wonder about the third gen AppleTV and (a) how much longer it will have support for and (b) will they refresh it with something newer just to keep it in line with mainstream iOS?

I need help, lately I restored my iphone to iOS 8 beta 1. Since then, my iPhone is unable to get OTA updates. I'm running my iPhone 5s on iOS 8 beta 1 but when I check for updates, it only say "Your Device is up to date" when it's actually not. Please help

Download the latest beta and update through iTunes. Might want to do it soon as beta 1 will expire in the next week or so.
