Is it me or does anyone else feel that Apple's software especially ios quality has really gone downhill since Scott Forstall left???

Way more bugs, late deployments etc.
Well, just since that time point, while Scott was left from Apple at the same time. :)

It hasn't fixed the search screen news scrolling bug where you click 'show more' then try and scroll down only for it to collapse back up again.

Restart and reset after installing 9. My 4S works great.

Now if we could switch of the stupid Game Center pop up or they'd let us delete this useless app.......................

Ha yes! Does anybody actually use game centre?
I wish it would let us delete all the other useless default apps too.

For some reason this update has magically upped my battery life and all lag seems that have disappeared. Thanks Apple :)

Annoyingly even in this latest version, if you don't have shortcuts enabled on the keyboard. Using google search the page does not roll up and just gets obscured by the keyboard.

I suppose this was really pushed out to fix the Siri lock screen issue. To me getting this only a week after 9.0.1 makes Apple look a little bad and if I was them I wouldn't personally have pushed it out so soon except to fix some security issue or if there was some bug that was really hurting some users that we didn't know about (unlikely with all the sites like this one with people to share information) so I'm left with either this Siri issue or some undisclosed big security hole being plugged as the reason for releasing an update so soon after 9.0.1.

9.0.1 works just fine for me, I leave cellular data on all the time, and I have Siri disabled so I think I'm going to wait until 9.1 or until there's another dot-dot release with something more significant in it before I upgrade. I really can't be bothered to do an iOS update on all my devices every week.

Lol luckily I have a Samsung

It doesn't really matter which chip you have. I mean, you might get one extra minute of battery life with either chip. Apple would of carried out vigorous tests to ensure the differences between them were minuscule.

I know that. We were just having fun with it.

I don't know if it's a bug or not but my recurring reminders have gone crazy over the past few weeks. I keep getting the alerts at the wrong times and on the wrong days. I've had to delete all my recurring reminders to stop it.

Seems to have fixed imessage verification problem on a mini ipad I have.
Even tech support couldnt fix this after 2 weeks.

Game center is a useful as PING was.
I am a patient person, but this thing really irks me.
Tried every web recommendation to get rid of it, nothing works.

i think the major improvement of iOS 9.0.2 is closes the loophole giving access to photos and contacts

9.0.2 spotlight search doesn't return contacts. someone else have this problem?

9.0.2 definitely seems to be a bit more responsive loading webpages on my 6S... notice I did NOT say "sna**ier!"
Looking forward to more speed in 9.1! So far so good moving from a 5S.

Anybody experiencing calendar navigation problems? I monthly view, I cannot tap into a future date. The only way to drill in is to tap the "today" button and swipe through the days or weeks.
This really caused me to stress out when i first updated to iOS9 - here is how it works in 9.0.1 and 9.0.2.
Double tap the date or tap on the first icon to the right of the month/year "Oct 2015" to show the calendar events for the day you select. Hope this helped!
