This is exciting. Finally an update that will also focus on faster performance - I will try to hold off for a few days to install to see if any issues if I can wait...

I just checked 60 seconds before this post popped up and it wasn't there. NOW it is!

But now I'm getting "software update failed"...

I know the servers were going to get jammed but I'd think I'm one of the first, as I said it was less than a minute...

To be fair, I liked the iOS 6 design far better.

It was also faster on older iDevices. I'd do anything to downgrade my 5th gen. iPod touch to iOS 6. Atrociously slow on iOS 8.

I'm on the GM and have a 42.7MB update available in Software Update. Different build?
Same here. iPad Air 2 and iPhone 6 both on the GM show a 42.3MB update. But...both fail when going to download.

Edited: I'm going to try with iTunes now. Nevermind. iTunes was just offering a carrier settings update. iTunes says that my iPhone 6 is on the current version.

i REALLY wish split screen was available for the 6s. I realize it wouldn't be as useful as on an iPad but I have had times where split screen absolutely would have made my life easier. I do a lot of work on my phone and double clicking the stinking home button ten or more times to reference back and forth is just awful. I may be I the minority, I don't know, it just seems like a feature that would be lovely on Apple's only "phablet"
