Not good that so many bug updates get released so frequently. Suggests a problem with Apple's regression testing process that is meant to prevent the escape of software bugs rather than force users to deal find and deal with them. Software updates should add useful features, not add bugs as features.
really, opinion?

The UPDATES are not a concern. You should be thankful for the updates, I am.

The concern should be about the bugs that the updates are fixing. Why so many bugs sneaking by?

That’s essentially what I meant by my comment. I appreciate the updates (because they’re needed) but the fact that there’s so many bugs to begin with, that require this amount of updates to correct is a problem.

Back in the day, we had many less issues, including PRICING.

When you charge people this much for a damn phone, best believe expectations are going to go up.
Under Jobs, we paid HALF the amount for the best phone.
Oh c’mon! Stop this silly analogy with Steve Jobs...
Phones were much less expensive at the time, and iPhone was the most expensive nevertheless.
Prices have gone out of control lately, but that’s not just an Apple issue.

I know I should be happy that my SE can still run on the latest iOS. Thanks for that, Apple.

But - the power management is the worst I've ever experienced.

No matter what settings I use, how many notifications/location services I disable. My battery lasts approx. half the time than on iOS 12.

I'll be buying a new phone next year so until then I just can't leave home without powerbank. Might downgrade back to 12 as this really isn't fun at all.

This is a welcomed update, I would rather have lots of updates than living with annoying bugs
I'd rather them get it right before it's pushed to the masses. I'm not "welcoming" anything when it was a garbage release to begin with. That they're fixing it doesn't mean they deserve any kudos.

Be thankful that they are even coming in.
I see. So Apple released a garbage OS, and we're just supposed to be thankful that they haven't abandoned it.

Um let me think about it......NO.

I appreciate updates, but the amount of them for iOS13 is getting a little ridiculous. The average user doesn't want to keep having their phone update all the time.

Edit: Since September 24th they've released 8 updates for iOS13. That's just too many.

I don't understand your point. I'll happily take updates if it improves iOS and fixes issues.

No one is inconvenienced by them, so what's the issue?

Now we can say for sure that in September iOS 13 was not ready. After two months and a lot of updates we start to have a little more stable iOS. For sure next year I will wait almost around Christmas to update to iOS 14.

Hey Apple, you are yet known for :
- quality first, quantity will come naturally
- when you do something, you do it right

do not forget that please!

Wish I had the discipline to do this.

My iPad Air 3 and iPhone are updating as I type this. :(
I have ipad air 3 too
Have yu experienced a little fast battery drain on yr air 3 recently too ??
Can it also occur cos of 30w apple fast charger that i use ??
I mean it sure charges my ipad really fast but maybe my ipad battery is draining a bit quick due to it ??

The update has done nothing at all to fix apps freezing. This iOS is the biggest piece of carp ever to come out from Apple!

let’s hope iOS13.2.4fixes this

No not saying that at all. What I'm saying is a major release shouldn't be rushed out before all the major bugs are worked out, with all software you have to expect some bugs, but not this many

You're basically saying that Apple shouldn't rush out a new generation of phone each September.

I agree with you, but Apple probably would not.

The truth is that people actually need something new every year. This is the world we are living in these days.
And this is also the business.
I' really happy that there are numerous updates fixing all the little issues. It's way batter than it used to be.

The mail app is still broken for me. Push mail is still a hit and miss affair

same here, new mail doesn’t come through and inbox is blank even though it says downloading messages. What a bust... keep sticking with Outlook which has no issues getting and keeping Mail in inbox.

Nope. There's absolutely zero need to tie software releases to the annual iPhone release. iPhone 11 could have easily launched on iOS 12.4.x. That doesn't make the keynote as exciting though.

It's pure hype and marketing that makes Apple want to force out the next OS every year come new iPhone time.

Mac OS is even worse, because there isn't even a yearly hardware launch-hype reason. That one is pure marketing ********. They force pinch off that turd every year in October whether it's ready or not.

Had a bunch of niggling bugs on the 6S. I hope this update will fix them even though they weren't listed. Definately the worst iOS version for this model phone since its release.

All these bugs on iOS 13 and I'm rocking iOS 12.4.1 on my 8+. This is EXACTLY why you don't update when a new iOS comes out. You wait until about 8-10 months later once its more refined.
Unfortunately, I'm rocking an iPhone 11 Pro Max. Anything < iOS 13 is impossible. My biggest (unfixed) gripe: Siri/Bluetooth combo in my car - unstable, not as functional as iOS 12, random functionality. I wish Apple would fix this...
