No, that’s the way Apple made the market. Nobody ever released new smartphones or computers yearly until apple started doing so. Now everyone else does it too because they have to compete with Apple. That’s the way the market is. In order for apple to sell their products they have to keep the pipeline hot. Maybe not everybody wants a new phone every year, but Apple has done their home work on this.
Either way in 2019 there seems to be a yearly release with consumer electronics. And it’s the chicken and egg thing. No, that’s the way Apple made the market. Nobody ever released new smartphones or computers yearly until apple started doing so. Now everyone else does it too because they have to compete with Apple.
It’s not really simply a function of that.Yeah, you would think with their revenues and cash, they could afford to do all 4 of those.
That did it for me. Thanks!Apple Music is working again!! Just in time for my commute home!! Close out the app and restart it.
Not that it's any consolation, but David Shayer, a former Apple software engineer, wrote a revealing op-ed that explains why OS upgrades can be so buggy, and why some bugs are never addressed...My brand new iPhone 11 Pro running iOS 13 and a new Mac running Catalina are so mindblowingly buggy, it’s not even funny.
The two have been the absolute worst releases in Apple history.
Worse than MobileMe, worse than [insert the worst product here].
Unforgivable
🤬🤬🤬
is it safe to upgrade yet?
It would be nice if the Apple keyboard had searchable emojis like the Google Keyboard does![]()
No, sorry - Apple had to focus developer ressources on this release in order to deliver the important 230 new emoji’s.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

The idea is you don't need to search, but you type normally and pick them from the suggestions in predictive text. I think predictive text recognizes when it's appropriate to suggest and use emojis, like in a chat app versus word processing.
My Mac is not yet running on Catalina, but I have no complaints whatsoever about iOS 13 on my iPhone 13 Pro. What is not working with your iPhone..?

The thinking seems to be: Stop using Exchange then! Or if you have managed living with it this far, you probably can for another few months.
Not at all, stay on 12.![]()
Yeah I know. It was said in jest. Kind of like "we can put a man on the moon, but can't fix xyz..."It’s not really simply a function of that.
Is anyone’s AirPods constantly disconnecting and breaking up after the update?
Currently unusable on my iPhone XS but seem ok on my 12.9 2018 iPad.
Tried disconnecting/reconnecting toggling Bluetooth and a hard reset but no joy.
My hunch is that many beta testers aren't reporting bugs. Participating app developers are motivated to; however, I bet that a lot of customer beta installers are just impatient fans who want the latest OS and don't provide robust feedback. The huge reliance on manual testing is disturbing.

I had this issue before 13.2 and hoped it would be fixed in this release, but sadly not.
