"support for... HomeKit Secure Video"

Here's hoping I can use an old iPhone for secure remote video natively, rather than involving a 3rd party app of unknown trustworthiness.

My brand new iPhone 11 Pro running iOS 13 and a new Mac running Catalina are so mindblowingly buggy, it’s not even funny.

The two have been the absolute worst releases in Apple history.

Worse than MobileMe, worse than [insert the worst product here].

Unforgivable

Yesterday I tried to watch Ghost in the Shell with my wife's Beats on my MacBook.... Regretted the time I tried to rewind a little back. All hell broke loose with the Apple TV app and then I permanently lost Beats. After 10 minutes of unsuccessful tinkering I decided to watch the film from my iPad Pro with my usual AirPods.
Hope this 13.2 improves some things...

Why are the in app resolution settings in the camera app only available for the iPhone 11? What the hell Apple?
What exactly is your point? Is Apple required to offer every single software feature to every single customer of every single device?

Just because it is a "software" feature does not mean you're automatically entitled to it. That's an iPhone 11 feature. If you like it, buy an iPhone 11.

Hyperbole much?

As far as iOS 13 goes: not even close. I'm enjoying iOS 13 A LOT, best system ever by far in my experience.

Catalina: can't comment as I will not upgrade for years probably due to legacy software.

You obviously weren’t around for iOS 8. Or have forgotten.

I dont get daily app closures to the home screen, or janky stuttering animations on iOS 13, like I did with iOS 8.

Still holding off on this. Fixing the 4G LTE connectivity issues might warm me up to it *a tad*, but at this point, the whole thing has to be *bulletproof* before I pull the trigger
May I know what issues are you having with your current version?

I wish they'd fix the floating keyboard on the iPad Mini. It's ridiculously small. So small that my thumb covers 6 keys at one time. It's completely useless. It also has does not remember where you last had it, so it constantly needs to be repositioned before it's usable.

Add Apple TV update to this list. Latest software completely ruined my setup :(

I'm wondering if they've fixed that problem with some of the apps in the dock not activating. (As far as I know, this only affected the iPadOS, not iOS)

I have the same problem, but it appears only Facebook is affected.

It’s such a tiny feature, not even really a feature, that should be included with all iOS 13 capable iPhones. The iPhone 11 should be good enough for people to buy without adding an exclusive resolution change ability in the camera app. It’s a money grab.

Hoping this fixes the keyboard issues on IPad, orientation bugs, etc. etc.) What an absolute disgrace iPadOS iOS 13 has been.

And Catalina, I won’t even upgrade to. Reviewed all the features over the weekend, and decided it’s simply not worth the massive step back in quality and the alpha-leavel media apps. For the first time as an Apple customer, I am skipping a MacOS upgrade. Too shoddy quality with middling value. What I have today works.

Don't understand why updates are available via the device within minutes. Yet via Mac-finder its still not available. Gee Apple.

"On the ‌iPhone 11‌ and 11 Pro, there's a new option to change video recording settings right from the Camera app..."

Now that's a kick in the pants. My main feature hope for iOS 13 finally introduced, but limited to the latest phones. How much effort would it have taken to bring it to the older camera app as well? Beyond annoying.

The update takes forever to prepare itself on an Xs Max phone... and this is also the first time I've seen Settings.app crashing while preparing the update. Well done, Apple, the update didn't even roll itself on the phone and it's already signaling superior stability.

This is one ugly update. Taking forever on an 11 Pro

My multi core score jumped up on Geekbench 4(and yes I know there’s a Geekbench 5) but it broke 14000. 14007 to be exact

My main issue is this. When someone sends me a link to a pdf, it's practically impossible to open it. What am I missing here? Why won't Safari let me open pdfs? I used to be able to open them in Chrome but it doesn't seem to work there either. Hope that's fixed!

Rolled right along on my Xs.
