Huh - does this mean I can roll my iPhone 6s (which has a good battery BTW) back to 12.4.3? Cuz so far iOS 13 has been a dog.
No. iOS 12.4.3 was released only for older devices that got all the way to iOS 12 but were left out of iOS/iPadOS 13. That includes the iPad Air 1, iPad mini 2 and 3, iPod touch 6th gen and iPhone 5s and 6/6 Plus.

does anyone know if Deep Fusion is a mode, or does it happen automatically?

I have the same problem, but it appears only Facebook is affected.

Near as I can tell, it's not app-specific. (Happened to me with FB ,but also with the Reddit app and a few others). From what I see it affects those apps that are sitting in memory that you've just used, not the static apps that you put in the dock permanently.

"On the ‌iPhone 11‌ and 11 Pro, there's a new option to change video recording settings right from the Camera app..."

Now that's a kick in the pants. My main feature hope for iOS 13 finally introduced, but limited to the latest phones. How much effort would it have taken to bring it to the older camera app as well? Beyond annoying.

It likely took more work to hold this feature back from phones, than it did to enable it.

Hey, early iOS 13.2 adopters.....

Any update pushed for Watch OS yet????

Nothing so far on Rumors or 9to5 MAC...

What exactly is your point? Is Apple required to offer every single software feature to every single customer of every single device?

Just because it is a "software" feature does not mean you're automatically entitled to it. That's an iPhone 11 feature. If you like it, buy an iPhone 11.
Actually they do offer the same features on all devices, the only exception being features that require new hardware found only on the latest devices. I like, for example, how macOS Catalina is one and the same for all macs, unlike Windows where they have Windows 10 Home edition, Windows 10 professional, windows 10s, etc.

The HomePod update details:

iOS 13.2 provides support for new HomePod features:
  • The ability for HomePod to recognise the voices of different family members to provide a personalised experience
  • Handoff music, podcasts or phone calls by bringing your iPhone close to HomePod
  • Add music to your HomeKit scenes
  • Play relaxing high-quality soundtracks with Ambient Sounds
  • Set sleep timers to fall asleep to music or Ambient Sounds

Just not tested the DF under near dark indoor condition with my iPhone 11, the resulting image was amazingly noise free bright and warm with great details though the subjects were working 10 ft!! Very well done Apple !

No, facebook isn’t the only one. I have had that happen with twitter, youtube and reddit as well. No response when I tap the icon in the recently used apps area of the dock.

I'm wondering if they've fixed that problem with some of the apps in the dock not activating. (As far as I know, this only affected the iPadOS, not iOS)
I hope they did. And yes, it only affects iPadOS because only iPadOS places recently used apps on the right-hand side of the dock.

I guess I should state that I'm only having this issue with Facebook. None of my other apps do it, but I don't use Reddit or Twitter and I don't use YouTube often enough to have noticed a problem.

My brand new iPhone 11 Pro running iOS 13 and a new Mac running Catalina are so mindblowingly buggy, it’s not even funny.

The two have been the absolute worst releases in Apple history.

Worse than MobileMe, worse than [insert the worst product here].

Unforgivable
🤬🤬🤬
Hyperbole was correct assessment. Catalina and my iPhone 11P running the latest updates have been no worse, and no better than previous updates. In fact, I had more issues with Mojave initially than I have had with Catalina. iOS updates have been okay.
